What you'll learn

  • Rank four plausible fixes for a misbehaving agent the way the exam expects: deterministic control first, then descriptions, examples, instructions.
  • Recognise the three answers that are always wrong on this exam and the two cases where one of them is right.
  • Handle multiple-response items: read the instruction line, pick exactly the number asked.
  • Read a broken agentic loop, a bad tool description, a leaky claude md, an unvalidated schema or a context-window failure and name the fix.
  • Score yourself per domain after each mock and know which task statements to reread in the official guide.

Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Six full-length mock exams for the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations certification (exam code CCAR-F, previously written CCA-F), built from the official exam guide v1.0 (July 2026) and reviewed question by question by a working software engineer who is sitting the same exam.

What is different about this set

Every question explains all four options. You do not just learn which answer is right; you learn why the three wrong ones are wrong, and the wrong ones on this exam are wrong in predictable ways. The explanations name the task statement in the official guide they are written against, so you can open the guide and check.

The real exam contains multiple-choice and multiple-response items, and each item tells you how many to select. These mocks do the same: 29 of the 360 items are multiple-response. Most practice sets online still describe the exam as "four options, one correct". The official guide says otherwise.

Each mock is weighted like the real blueprint: 27% Agentic Architecture and Orchestration, 18% Tool Design and MCP Integration, 20% Claude Code Configuration and Workflows, 20% Prompt Engineering and Structured Output, 15% Context Management and Reliability. Every question carries its domain, so the per-domain report after each attempt looks like the real score report.

All six official scenarios are covered: Customer Support Resolution Agent, Code Generation with Claude Code, Multi-Agent Research System, Developer Productivity with Claude, Claude Code for Continuous Integration, and Structured Data Extraction. The real exam gives you four of the six at random, so you need all six.

Before you enrol, read this

The certification is currently open only to employees of organisations in the Claude Partner Network, registered with a company email address. Personal email addresses cannot register. If you are not at a partner organisation you can still use these mocks to learn the material, but you cannot yet sit the exam. Please check your eligibility first.

The official practice exam that used to exist on the previous platform was retired when delivery moved to Pearson VUE on 30 June 2026. The sample questions in the exam guide were drawn from it. These mocks are written in that style to fill the gap.

The passing score is a scaled 720 on a 100 to 1,000 scale. It is not a percentage and cannot be converted into "questions I can miss". These mocks report a raw percentage as a proxy; aim for 85% and above before you book.

How to use the six mocks

Sit Mock 1 cold, before you study, and write down your five domain percentages. Study your two weakest domains. Sit Mocks 2 to 5 untimed in practice mode while you study, reviewing every explanation including the ones you got right. Sit Mock 6 timed, with no notes, the week before your exam date. If you score 85% or more with every domain above 75%, book it.

What is not in here

No content from any live exam. No screenshots, no brain dumps, no "real questions". Every item was written from the public exam guide and Anthropic's public documentation, then reviewed and edited by hand.
