Fear of abandonment may affect how you experience relationships, but understanding where it comes from could be the key to fulfilling connections. In this course, you will learn how to overcome this fear of abandonment and permanently stop it from negatively affecting your relationships
Things will be going along smoothly, and all of a sudden, you feel inundated with insecurity and dread that your partner will distance themselves, ignore, or leave you
Right at the beginning you might start talking about separation out of the blue. This could hurt your relationship as the other person might feel as if you don't trust them
Such tiny behaviors & beliefs eventually lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy - abandonment!

There are effective ways for you to develop more security within yourself and overcome your fear of abandonment. You can start by understanding where this fear comes from. How and why does it develop? How does it affect you in your current life? What are strategies for dealing with the anxiety that arises? How can you develop more resilience and experience less fear around relationships?
Maybe in your past, everyone you loved got separated from you. This might make you feel unimportant and unloved. Therefore you may ask yourself, am I not lovable? Is there anything wrong with me? Why does everyone I love leave me?
You put every effort to not upset them and try to be perfect. You take all responsibility. Maybe you even try to impress or please them. But eventually, they leave you. Why is this happening? This is a self-fulfilling prophecy

Hey there! I am Aman Varma and I am a counseling psychologist (PGDPC) and certified CBT Practitioner. I am also accredited in various other therapies such as DBT, ACT, Gestalt Therapy, Hypnotherapy, NLP and more.
Fun fact: I am also a graphologist. It is the science of understanding human behavior through handwriting.
Other than psychology & mental health I have keen interest in spirituality. I always try to integrate psychology & spirituality in my teaching along with personal experiences and case study so that students get a broader perspective towards the topic.
