Description

This course was created to assist those who are interested in working in case management at a high school level (Community Health Workers) and bachelor/master's level. The content was created to reassure the students that although you may see case manager positions available in the workforce for RN/LPN professionals; it is also a profession for others. Bachelors/Master level social work, psychology, or counseling graduates are eligible to work with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. 

*This course also applies to various types of case management. If you are preparing for a job/career in mental health case management, HIV/AIDS, or children and pregnant women case management, this course will assist you with foundation information to put you on a path to success. Take our 2-hour course to get better acquainted with work-related norms to assist your clients with increasing their quality of life.

*This training is a part of the Texas Community Health Worker CEU program. AEIC Case Management LLC is a certified instructor location.

This course is divided into two courses and will take approximately 4-5 hours and supplemental text is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The curriculum is based on the supplemental text and it follows the table of contents.

  • Individuals that have a bachelors or masters level of education in social work, psychology, health & human services, and counseling.
  • Individuals seeking employment in case management or support coordination agencies.
  • This course is NOT suited for those that have yet to complete a bachelors level of education in the fields mentioned above. You are more than welcome to enroll in this course if you are expecting to graduate and are interested in this field.
