Raman had the honor and privilege of being the first Indian Flautist to be featured in the Oklahoma symphony orchestra in 2019
Raman was also instrumental in collaborating with his disciple Mr Ram Mallappa to produce the first ever 3D printed Carnatic Flute ,

Raman has performed with Indian music Legends like Dr M. Balamuralikrishna, Dr N. Ramani, Pt Vishwamohan Bhatt ( Grammy Winner ), Ustad Shahid Pervez , Vikku Vinaykram ( Grammy Winner ) Pt Anindo Chatterjee , Nikhil Ghosh , A.K Palanivel & has also been touring as a special guest with the legendary Singer & Guinness record holder K.J Yesudas.
Raman apart from performing Carnatic Solo , Jugalbandhi , Jazz , contemporary world music is a pioneer in creating new genres such as music for deep meditation and Bollywood jazz.
Raman, blessed with a deep bass voice, has lent his voice for many CDs and teaches Carnatic Vocal music and Carnatic flute for hundreds of students across the globe .
Raman is the founder president of Indo American Academy of Classical Music, an organization dedicated to propagating Classical music .
Raman is also the founder president of the na-mama foundation, a non-profit organization to do charity through arts.
