247 tools for career coaching in one course: 14 downloadable tool files, 187 ready-to-use question lists, templates, procedures, checklists and AI prompts, plus 46 models and methods.
Open a lecture, take the tool, use it in your next session with a client.
Why career advice does not work
A client comes with one sentence: I do not like my job. Advice does not help here, because the client does not yet know what they want, what they are good at and what they are worth. A career coach needs questions that open this up and a structure that leads from a vague wish to a job offer.
What changes after this course
You have a full route for a client. Questions that reveal talents, values and a picture of the future. A skills audit and a development plan. A job search with a resume, LinkedIn profile and a funnel of applications. Interview preparation and salary negotiation. And tools for the hard moments: burnout, money worries and fear of change.
What is inside: 247 tools, counted file by file
You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.
Where the tools are
Who is teaching
I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe.
I saw how people build careers from the recruiter's chair. At Alfa-Bank, from 2005 to 2008, I closed about 500 vacancies and talked with roughly 10,000 people. What interested me most was why some never worked out how much they should earn or what work they love. After my coaching training in 2011 I chose career coaching and charged 100 dollars an hour, with clients coming by recommendation. Then I started improving resumes, first for 15 dollars, then 50, then 100, and LinkedIn profiles for 200. People paid, found jobs and wrote reviews. This course holds the tools from that practice.
How to use the course
Watch the first five sections in order to see a client's full route. Then use the rest as a reference: section and lecture titles show how many tools are inside, and each lecture description lists them by name.
