CAPA Argo Practice Tests 2026: 5x60 Qs Explained

Exam simulator, not a video course: 5 timed mock exams like the real one (60 Qs, 90 min), every option explained
Last updated 10/2026
English

What you'll learn

  • Sit five timed 60-question practice exams that match the CAPA format, 90 minute limit and pass mark
  • Read and reason about Argo Workflows specs: templates, steps versus DAG, artifacts, parameters, WorkflowTemplates and retries
  • Manage Argo CD Applications and AppProjects: sync policies, prune and self heal, sync waves and hooks, Helm and Kustomize sources
  • Choose and configure Argo Rollouts strategies: blue green and canary, traffic management, AnalysisTemplates and AnalysisRuns
  • Connect Argo Events: EventSources, EventBus, Sensors and Triggers, and learn from every option with a key takeaway and a documentation link

Included in This Course

300 questions
  • Practice Test 1: CAPA, 60 questions, 90 minutes60 questions
  • Practice Test 2: CAPA, 60 questions, 90 minutes60 questions

Description

EXAM SIMULATOR, NOT A VIDEO COURSE. Every minute here is spent on exam-style questions: timed like the real exam and reviewed option by option. Use it after you have studied, to find out whether you are ready and exactly where you would lose marks.

WHY THESE EXAMS

  • 5 full length practice exams, 300 original questions, each exam 60 questions in 90 minutes with a 75 percent pass mark, the same shape as the CNCF Certified Argo Project Associate (CAPA) exam.

  • Every answer option explained, not only the correct one, with a key takeaway and a link to the Argo project documentation behind the question.

  • Every question tagged with its skill area, so practice mode lets you drill one area at a time, and the results page shows where you lose marks.

  • Scenario questions with exhibits: YAML manifests, sync and DAG diagrams and rollout step tables, so you practise reading an exhibit under time pressure like the real exam.

  • Two ways to study: Exam mode, timed and scored, or Practice mode, untimed with instant feedback, filtered by skill area.

WHAT IS COVERED. The four domains of the official CAPA curriculum with the official weights: Argo Workflows (36 percent: workflow spec, template types, steps and DAG, artifacts and parameters, WorkflowTemplate and ClusterWorkflowTemplate), Argo CD (34 percent: Application and AppProject, sync policies, prune and self heal, sync waves and resource hooks, Helm and Kustomize, reconciliation and health), Argo Rollouts (18 percent: blue green and canary, traffic management, AnalysisTemplate and AnalysisRun, promotion and abort) and Argo Events (12 percent: EventSource, EventBus, Sensor, Trigger). The five exams build on each other: the first covers the domains evenly, the middle three go deeper into the traps candidates most often fall into (sync status versus health status, prune versus self heal, sync wave versus hook, steps versus DAG, WorkflowTemplate versus ClusterWorkflowTemplate, blue green versus canary), and the last is a harder mixed review.

HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN. Most questions put you in a situation a platform engineer actually faces: an Application stuck OutOfSync, a canary that must pause until an analysis passes, a workflow that needs a fan out over a list, a sensor that must trigger a workflow from a webhook. You read the YAML or the scenario, then choose the option that the Argo documentation supports. Distractors are plausible mistakes, not obvious wrong answers. Every question was written from the public Argo project documentation and the CNCF CAPA curriculum. Nothing is copied from the real exam or from anyone else's practice tests.

WHO THIS IS FOR. Platform, DevOps and site reliability engineers preparing for the CNCF Certified Argo Project Associate (CAPA) exam, and kubernetes practitioners who use Argo CD or Argo Workflows and want to check their readiness before booking the exam.
