Let's have a look at some of the template options we have available to us in Canva. Starting out with templates is often the perfect introduction to Canva and graphic design for beginners.

Let's create a social media graphic from an existing Canva template. We are looking to apply our design principles (consistent spacing, contrasting colours and short, snappy messaging) as we change the content to match our requirements.

Now that we have completed a fully functional graphic in Canva, we can look to tie it into our existing corporate brand. Notice how we need to change our layout slightly when changing the font selection.
