In this section we will be talking about the materials and intentions when working with candle magic and rituals. Candles and prayers are amazing ways to harness the universal energy that you have the right to use to your favor at any time. Being an incarnated Soul on earth you are born with the right to use the universal energy to your favor, this is true so long as your intention is to help yourself or others.

The words you use when placing your rituals’ intention is of utmost importance. Words have power and they are now being assisted by a universal energy harness for your greater good. In this section we explain the importance of prayer and writing in candle magic and rituals.

We will be working with the format of which is the best day of the week to begin the candle ritual depending on what you want and or need. What day to begin the ritual if you want to pray to a certain celestial boy or archangel. You have many different options, you may even choose to utilize more than one ritual.

You can use candle rituals to attract, this is the most common use but there are times when you will want to release a situation, attachment or circumstance. The ritual of manifesting or repealing will be different in its intention when you pray but also the form in which you place the oil on the candle.

You will be working with candles, it may look like it's just sitting in the room not doing much. Behind what we see in front of us, is alot going on, energy is being harnessed, energy is being mustated to your rituals favor.

We will be going through each of the days of the week and what rituals you will want to bring forward on that day. You will learn which days harness what specific universal power, this is also convenient to learn for general manifestation, meditations and general prayers. Use the universal power of the day to your advantage and all the ways you see fit.

In the spiritual realm Sunday is considered a day of appreciation, rest, union but it is also an amazing day to bring forth additional energy, intuitive connection and to give you that extra boost you may need in issues that seem to be stuck.

Monday is ruled by the moon. The masters remind us that that gloomy Monday feeling that most of us associate with the beginning of the week blues due to going back to work, this is actually a confrontational alignment with your shadow aspects.

Tuesday is ruled by Mars. I am sure you can guess that the candle for Tuesday is like mars….red! Mars harnesses an amazing energy of powerful protection.

Wednesday is the day of Mercury. Mercury has really gotten a bad rep in the last few years, being that everyone now seems to know about mercury retrograde. Many seem to now associate mercury with the coming of bad things or difficult transactions and or communications.

The ruling planet for Thursday is Jupiter, this beautiful giant does not lack in power. The huge physical presence of Jupiter fully represents its energetic capabilities. Abundance is the most adequate word to associate with Jupiter. Jupiter is all about abundance, grandness and at times even exaggeration.

Friday is linked to the planet venus. The planet of sexuality, sensuality and personal growth. To harness your true sensual self you must feel and look the part. Venus is here to hand over all her estetic power, enhance your beauty internally and externally with venus.

Saturday is Saturn's turn to assist us, using the assistance of the candle color violet to harness Saturn's power. This ritual day is perfect for karmic alignment and or karmic release, karma is what will define the life lessons you will carry through in this lifetime.

The moon goes through its phases and each phase vibrates differently. Depending on what you need and or want to obtain from your ritual you may want to do rituals on a specific part of the moon phases.

The first quarter moon phase is also known as the waxing moon. This is a great day to do a ritual for things that you want to grow or expand. All those things can grow into full bloom and the first quarter can help push that growth along.

The moon will be seen completely lit up and just by watching it you can gain the feeling of hope and the feeling of grandiosity. The first quarter is about helping things expand, grow and move along, the energy of the full moon ritual can go one step further.

The third quarter moon is also know as the waning moon. The waning moon is a great time to do cleansing rituals, to help remove unwanted circumstances and or energies that no longer suit us or that are not present for our greater good.

If you are to look up at the sky and search for the moon, you will not find a bright moon like on a full moon day. That feeling of grandiosity the full moon gives you will not be felt on a new moon day. You can also refer to it as the black moon and just like a black hole, whatever is sent or prayed upon will be lost in that black hole.

We will be listing the archangels and the day of the week they are associated with, on that day you will be harnessing the power of that specific archangel.

Archangel Michael is also known as the archangel of the South, he is a warrior and represents all that is protection and defending those in need and the innocent.

Archangel Jophiel’s energy can be associated with Monday. When you harness her energy she can help you open up to possibilities that may be unseen or stuck.

We strongly believe in love and the power of mutual connection. For this same reason we have asked Archangel Chamuel for assistance in our own personal relationships many times.

Archangel Gabriel is also known as the archangel of the West. He is associated with Wednesday and his candle color is white. Harness his power if you need assistance with communication, whether that be speaking or being understood better.

This healing archangel is also known as the archangel of the East. One of the most sought out Archangels when it comes to health and miracles. He wants us to heal from a physical place.

Uriel is the archangel of the North. Her energy can be harnessed in a candle ritual on a Friday. Her candle color is orange.

Archangel zadkiel is a wonderful energy to harness when you are in need of assistance for your meditation, breathing work, or maybe even a deeper yoga session.

Everything on earth has its own specific vibration. This also goes for candles and their colors. Each candle color has its own specific vibration and that vibration can be used to your favour to assist you with your ritual and what you need.

White is the color of peace, harmony, purity and wellness. White can also be associated with the cleansing of energy, purity and or purification. It can be used to assist in concentration, to calm nerves and to attract positive energy into your life. A white candle can help you attract many good things into your awareness.

Use black candles to clear out all the negative undesired energy. You can use it to clear out negative energy in your home before using the white candle to cleanse the home and bring in good energy and harmony.

Green candles can be used in rituals for healing, health but also in emotional and or spiritual healing. Think of green as growing, progressing via the healing process. Whenever you may feel stuck in health, on your path or in your own spiritual growth, use a green candle to help you towards your goal.

Pink can help you regain that relationship and or understanding you had with your loved ones. It can help the connection be rekindled or reestablished. The color to use for all issues that have to do with emotional bonds and or connections.

Use a red candle in your rituals when you need to give something a big push, when a certain situation and or person needs to gain power or energy. Red will give it the impulse it needs to set off towards the right direction with the amount of strength needed for a successful outcome. The vibration of red in rituals doesn’t waste time, it goes right to the point and gives the situation true force and acceleration.

You may even use orange to gain energy needed from a sickness that may have depleted your system or maybe just because you have been feeling tired and unmotivated. When you think of orange, think of movement, stimulation, energy and physical capacity.

Brown is a great color to use when you have a legal issue, a court date or a hearing. This is a great color to help you move slow legal processes that seem to be taking too long.

Blue is a great color to help you gain perspective and enhance your creative skills. Intuition and creativity come hand in hand, enhance one and see the benefits in bath aspects of yourself.

When you think candle rituals and you think yellow, think money, work, and professional advancement. You can also associate yellow with your studies. It can help you gain self confidence and it can help you power up your manifestation skills.

Purple is an amazing ritual color to help you alter energy, it can help you create transformation and needed changes in yourself and or in your life. This is the color of change, progress and alignment.

Like the color yellow, when you think of gold you can associate it with money. Use this powerful color to gain abundance, to unlock wealth. This is the color that shines with the energy of the sun, it brings life force into all it touches.

Each day has its specific color when you are harnessing the power of that day and that planet. There is no rule for which tone of the color you need to use but the intensity of the color can further help you depending on what you're asking for assistance with.

No matter which style of candle you have decided to purchase, we do not know who has touched it and what kind of intention or day that person has had. It is of utmost importance that you cleanse your candles before beginning the ritual. If you were to use the candle without cleansing it, you may be starting your ritual with a negatively charged candle.

Think of dressing a candle like getting dressed to get ready for a night out. Depending where you are going out, will depend on what you decide to put on. This is the same for preparing your candles for a ritual. Depending on the ritual you are looking to do, you will dress your candle with certain elements.

You can use common oil to do your candle dressing process. You may also like to use essential oils that assist your ritual and intention. We will go over what specific oils can assist you with your rituals and candle dressing process.

Another very interesting way to add value to your ritual is to choose a specific layout for your candles. This means that there are different forms that can additionally enhance the power of your ritual and assist you even further with energy harnessing. We are going to go through all of the different positions and or forms that can be used in these rituals. This is not a must but it is a step that can add intention, energy and purpose to your ritual.

The triangle form can be used as a basic form when it comes to attracting. We may want to attract something new or enhance something we already have. This form will help you expand, multiply an already existing situation, material or relationship. It can also help you obtain it. This layout form will help further empower the attraction of your prayer, desire or request.

The square form is a great layout when you need to stabilize a situation or maybe even a relationship. We can also associate the square with bringing all things together, creating stability, balance. This layout can also be used to help you further harness the energy of compassion and other positive sentiments.

Do not hesitate to use the circle layout when in need of enhancing protection. The circle is also a visual and energetic representation of a cycle, use this layout to help you open up new cycles in your life or to help you close previous chapters.

The cross can be used to enhance balance, expand internal growth and it can help you find your true self. The cross represents the two polarities, black and white, yin and yang. The center of the cross represents the heart chakra, where true alignment and progress come into play.
