Hallmarks of cancer cells and common terminologies explained for beginner to understand and who will take advanced courses in cancer biology later.
The lectures are hallmarks of cancer cells, cancer cell mutations, genes in control of cell division, cancer cell described (terminology), common cancer types and unique information including genetic testing and risk factors based on age groups.

Instructor
Dr. Biju Joseph obtained his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology. His thesis resulted in development of DNA diagnostic methods for retinoblastoma in South-East Asia. Retinoblastoma is a pediatric eye cancer affecting children less than 5 years of age and late detection results in significant morbidity.
Apart from the thesis related publications, he co-authored diabetic retinopathy, consanguinity and ocular disorders, retinitis pigmentosa related research publications. He completed his post-doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore on cancer biology of thyroid cancers.
