Camtasia for Beginners - Introduction to Video Editing

Welcome to my Camtasia for Beginners course, which will help you set your first steps in the software and complete a tutorial video from start to finish.

What will you learn in the course?

1. Part 1 - How to record your screen with the Camtasia Screen Recorder - We will try to record a 10-second sequence using the native Camtasia screen recorder in order for you to use the software as you work through the lectures.

2. Part 2 - Designing with Camtasia. Camtasia is capable of adding annotations, shapes, arrows, sketches, custom imported footage, and so on and turning it into simple designs that we can use for showcases, bullet points, or animated slides. I will teach you a few essential tools to apply in your videos.

3. Part 3 - Video Editing in Camtasia. Of course, the biggest and most important usage of Camtasia is actual video editing. In the last part of our learning journey, we will edit the video we prepared earlier. We will add annotations, and transitions, trim our footage, adjust the sound, and everything else that comes into video editing.
