Description
Working with orphans is not for the faint of heart. The kids who arrive at camp have experienced difficult childhoods that require understanding. This training will help you become familiar with how trauma and abandonment affects children, so that you will be better equipped to work with orphans. Our goal is to love and defend orphans, and we want to train you to do that!
Who this course is for:
- Bring Me Hope Volunteers
Instructor
Bring Me Hope has been a part of my life since 2005. My parents adopted my two sisters from China, and since then China has become my family. I have the privilege of managing our Chinese volunteers at the summer camps. I have seen lives changed every summer, and I love facilitating that for new people. Serving is a part of our DNA, and so I encourage you to jump in and make a difference in an orphan's life this summer!
