This course is led by a Senior Examiner for Cambridge International in Global Perspectives and Research and Head of Humanities and Global Perspectives at a leading international school.
This course is aimed at teachers delivering the AS course in Global Perspectives and Research from Cambridge International.
It is also suitable for students taking the AS course in Global Perspectives and Research.
The course is broken down into three units:
Section 1. Component 1 - The Exam
Section 2. Component 2 - The Essay
Section 3. Component 3 - Group Presentation
Students will learn how to write model answers for each of the three exam questions, the essay and the presentation.
Students will understand exactly what Cambridge examiners are looking for and how to interpret the mark scheme to ensure they attain maximum marks.
There is an exam question at the end where students can complete the answer and receive personal feedback.
There is also an essay plan where students can submit a table outlining there idea for an essay and receive personal feedback from the instructor on how they can improve their essay plan for maximum marks.
This course meets the requirements of the new 2023-2025 Cambridge International specification, where there have been key changes to all three components of the AS Global Perspectives and Research assessment.
