The importance of clear and professional communication cannot be understated. The way to break into a field, any field, is to be able to communicate well. Schools are struggling to produce student who have not only good interpersonal skills, but also polished language ability. If you want to separate yourself from everyone else, learning the specific vocabulary, or jargon, of a specialized field like Real Estate is necessary. Put in the work. Train yourself to speak clearly and know what you're talking about. This is geared toward the Advanced ESL or ENL learner who wants to hear the pronunciations of the terms and their meanings. It is the perfect ramp onto the road to success, at the right price.
This introduction is my way of saying hello. I am so glad you're here. The tutorial is designed so you can do two things extremely well: 1) hear how the language is pronounced and spoken as well as 2) get basic definitions of key terms. I have been a buyer of real estate, a commercial renter, and a commercial landlord. The course will give you videos of spoken instruction and basic advice. The focus here is to get the student acclimated to terms, usage and style. The aural (listening) practice combined with the free handouts will get you to a level where you should be able to start studying for a licensing exam, or getting started in the field. These literacies, reading and listening, will push you to a higher level. Over my 25 years teaching in an English classroom have shown me this.
This comprehensive video is the companion to the free Word document with the 30 terms every agent must know. If you are planning on going into the Real Estate business, or are an ESL or ENL learner who needs the correct preparation, this is perfect for you.
Going through the basic buying and selling process, in order, adds value to the tutorial. Instead of just memorizing terms, the logical and orderly method of Real Estate purchase with the terms in place will allow you to 'see' how it's done and how the key vocabulary words are used.
The value here is the downloadable list of terms that you can use for your entire career. I have created a list of every word and term you'll need to get started. Once you get started, you can advance, learn and begin to earn!
You have done the thing that most people don't do: work hard and spend time bettering yourself. If you are practicing English, or getting involved in the industry, you've made a great start. I wish to sincerely thank you for choosing this class, and let you know that you're part of an elite group of people who aren't lazy or just waiting for things to happen. You've taken the initiative. You are the talent, and are on your way to success! Keep up the great work!
Sincerely,
Douglas Marolla - English Instructor - All levels.

What is here is a little over an hour of some of the standard and common words and definitions, as well as the pronunciations of terms you must know to get started. Because Real Estate is one of the fields that never goes out of style, being able to understand the basics can fast track your start in the field. There is no better feeling than getting going in Real Estate with the confidence and knowledge that you know what you're talking about, and your customers will recognize and appreciate that.
