Description
This course's got a lot to offer. It is for learners who feel like building basic language skills in Bulgarian. Each unit/lesson has two parts - a main body and a test yourself section. The main body inrtoduces the new topic, vocabulary and grammar. The test yourself section helps the students consolidate what they've learn in the main body section. Some of the lessons are accompanied by "More examples" or/and "Memory test" sections. They are designed to trigger and maximize the students' learning potential. As a result, learners really feel they're getting somewhere. The bonus section has a few video lessons. In the first part of the video, you will be practising saying the new words and expressions. In the second part, you will watch the video itself with subtitles. In the third part, you will act out the dialogue pretending that you find yourself in a real life situation.
The videos cover the following topics:
1 Introducing yourself
2 Ordering food and drink at a cafe
3 Ordering food and drink at a restaurant
4 Buying clothes (shirt)
5 Asking for and giving directions
6 Booking a hotel room
7 Transport (buying a train ticket, talking to a taxi driver and checking at the airport)
You don't have to have any previous knowledge about the language. You just need to follow the instructions given at the start of each video to build your speaking skills. The course is also suitable for students who have been learning Bulgarian for a certain period of time, but need more speaking practice to feel confident enough to lead these conversations. The vocabulary in each lesson reflects the contemporary language and the accent in the videos is neutral.
