In this hands-on course, "Build a Student Sch Management System Using NestJS & React," you will learn how to design, architect, and deploy a robust REST API using modern backend technologies and seamlessly connect it to a dynamic React frontend.
We dive straight into NestJS 12, exploring its core framework features, dependency injection, and modular architecture. You will gain practical experience designing relational database models using Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL, handling complex relationships across users, classrooms, and academic results.
Security is woven directly into every step. You will implement robust authentication and authorization using JWT tokens, Passport.js, bcrypt, custom guards, and custom dynamic decorators. You’ll build a flexible Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system supporting three distinct user types:
Admins: Manage users, create classrooms, assign teachers, and assign students.
Teachers: Manage classrooms, view assigned students, and submit term-by-term academic results (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Term).
Students: View their academic progress, check classmates, and manage their personal profiles.
On the frontend, you will set up modern client-side routing, route protection based on user roles, dynamic API interceptors, and Axios for seamless API communication. By the end of this course, you will have built a clean, scalable, real-world application from scratch and gained standard industry skills in backend architecture, database modeling, and full-stack integration.
