Build A Profitable Shopify Store From Scratch!

So here we were in our dashboard and as I mentioned, the first thing we want to do is go into the online store section here where we can go ahead and change the look and the theme in the field of our business. So, as you can see in this online store, we click on it. You have your themes. Your blog post page is navigation domains, preferences, and a current theme has always been set to the debut theme.

So we're back on her dashboard and we've just edited and added a few slider images to our main page. So what I want to do is dive back into the theme section and we're going to continue editing our website to make it look quite professional. So we're going to go again, back to customize and we're back here in the customizing area off our website. As I mentioned, we did the slide show where we added these pictures to our first page here.

Welcome back to this lecture as promised, we're going to take a look at the theme settings in the overall section of editing the theme of your website. So in the settings. You've got these subheadings colors, topography, cart page, social media, Fabrikant, and check out. So it is kind of self-explanatory, but you can get really into some customization details and in-depth here if you want.

Now that we have edited our theme, we're gonna take a look at the settings of our website. But first, what we are going to do is before we leave, this page is actually get rid of these subheadings and subsections of our main page. And the reason I want to do that is that for the purpose of this course is that we want to able to get the store quick up and running.

It is time for us to start adding products to our Shopify website and this is the first month I'm gonna show you and it's just manually entering in your own products. You've already pre-selected products that you're looking to sell in your e-commerce store, and you just want to list them and get them available as soon as possible.

We've just added our first manual product into the shop of my website. But now I'd like to walk through a process where you can quickly add products, um, into your site by using both Aliexpress.

So we have just basically built our very own e-commerce Web store. So congratulations. We're up and running. What I wanted to do in this lecture was dive into overload a little bit more and a just a few of the settings to make uploading products from l express into our store even easier.

In this lecture, I am going to walk you through building a collection on Shopify.

Now, What I have done while we were away was created another quick collection. And I titled it Simply decaf collection. Just so it will make this, this lecture a little bit easier to follow and move along with.

So one last thing I'd like to do to get our store really operational and functional from a beginner's kind of get up and running perspective is to have some sort of email capturing system in place. So when your customers come to your website and they enter their email address, you're able to email them in the future about certain promotions or new products or news in the marketplace or whatever it is that you want to email them. Important thing is that you have their email address captured and you're able to email them.

So that concludes our how to build a Shopify e-Commerce Web store in an hour course we have just completed and just built a fully functional online Web store that we can go ahead and sell products to the world with. So where do you go from here? Well, as I mentioned, this is just a beginner's course and a quick guy to getting yourself on Shopify.

If you are looking for inspiration about what to do next with your store, I would certainly look at what your competitors are doing or what some of your favorite stores that you like to frequent and you like to shop with the kinds of things that they're doing, because you can certainly add those types of elements into your own store.

Anyone can lower their price so that it is the lowest available in the marketplace. But not everyone can have the best customer experience.
