Learning The Parts of The Drum Set1:41
This first lesson will help you learn the names of each of the drums and cymbals found on your drum set. There is also a separate sheet that shows our drum key. This is when each drum/cymbal sits on the stave (the five lines we see in music). Whilst reading the music may not be the most important thing at this point, it is useful to have an understanding of it.

Description

Starter Essentials for Beginner Drummers is the perfect entry point for anyone looking to begin their drumming journey. Whether you've never picked up a pair of sticks or have just started exploring the drum kit, this course provides the solid foundation every new drummer needs.

You’ll learn basic rhythms, drum set components, and essential coordination exercises. Through a combination of simple grooves, fundamental fills, and fun play-along exercises, you’ll build confidence, timing, and control. The course also introduces music-reading basics and practice techniques to help you progress independently.

By the end of the course, you'll be able to play basic beats and fills, follow simple drum charts, and jam to music with ease — all while developing the skills to continue growing as a drummer.
