Course content

1 section8 lectures50m total length
  • Introduction3:07

Welcome and how this works. What breathwork actually is, what this course will and won't do for you, and how it's built. We start with why the breath is the one automatic system you can take conscious control of, and set the honest expectations for everything that follows.

  • Safety3:43

Safety, self-pacing, who checks first. The one video to watch before you practice anything. What's normal to feel, the single signal that means ease off, who should check with a doctor first, and the self-pacing rule that keeps the whole practice safe. Short, plain, and not optional.

  • Diaphragmatic Breathing2:55

The base, diaphragmatic breathing. The foundation everything else is built on. How to breathe from the diaphragm instead of the chest, why it matters, and the one phrase that makes it click. Get this and every technique that follows gets easier.

  • Kriya Breathing4:44

The active breath. The engine of the practice, the fast, full, forceful breath, taught alongside a plain explanation of what it's actually doing in your body, so the tingling and lightheadedness make sense instead of scaring you. Includes the lighter two-part breath used higher in the practice.

  • Breath Retention2:52

The hold. Where the breathing settles into stillness. How to hold at neutral lung safely, how long is right for you, and the one rule that overrides every count. The hold is where the practice starts to feel like meditation.

  • Chakra Aspects4:46

The map. A light, practical guide to the seven energy centers, where they sit, what each one is about, and the central channel that links them. Just enough to follow the guided practice, with no jargon required.

  • Witnessing4:02

How to experience it. The most important skill in the course, witnessing, learning to notice what comes up in you and let it pass instead of being swept up in it. This is the thing that follows you off the mat, into the hard conversation and the stressful day.

  • Seven Chakra Breath Meditation23:56

Basic guided meditation. The full first-layer practice, everything you've learned in one guided sit. Breath, holds, and a journey up through the centers, with time to rest and integrate at the end. The session you'll return to.

Requirements

  • No prior experience with breathwork or meditation needed
  • A quiet space where you won't be disturbed for the length of a practice
  • Somewhere comfortable to sit, against a wall, or to lie down
  • Willingness to check with a doctor first if you have a health condition we flag in the safety lesson

Description

A few years ago I was a burned-out CTO at the end of my rope. Today I meet what life throws at me with a steadiness I didn't used to have. Breathwork wasn't the whole answer, and I won't pretend it was, but it was one of the core tools that got me here, and it's the one I can actually hand you.

This course is a practical, honest guide to breathwork and meditation, built for someone who's stressed and curious, not looking for hype or dogma. It will genuinely help you calm down, release what you're holding, and check in with yourself. It won't promise to fix everything or ask you to believe a word you haven't felt for yourself.

We build it in two layers. This is the first layer and it gives you everything you need to start: the breath itself, how to stay safe, what it feels like in your body, and how to settle in. That alone is a complete practice. The second layer is there when you're ready to go deeper, the energy centers, sound, gesture, and the fuller guided meditation that ties it all together.

Along the way you'll learn to notice what comes up in you, a thought, a feeling, a tension, and let it pass instead of getting swept up in it. That single skill is the heart of the course, and it's the one that follows you off the mat, into the hard conversation and the stressful day.

Everything is broken into short lessons you can rewatch and practice at your own pace, plus two full guided sessions you'll return to for years.
