Description

This course is meant for pregnant women or women after birth who would like to learn about breastfeeding.

If you've never breastfed before or if you have but it wasn't successful- this is the course for you!

Many women start learning about breastfeeding only after birth and once things have gotten to be difficult. That may be where you're at right now and this course can help with technique issues as well as with knowledge and correct information regarding breastfeeding. If you haven't given birth yet, this is your chance to learn about breastfeeding in advance and hopefully prevent breastfeeding difficulties.

You will finish this course with more confidence regarding meeting your baby's nutritional demands and will start off breastfeeding with much more knowledge that can help in an age where online information can be contradicting and confusing.

The course is made up of 17 short videos that will teach you about newborn babies' eating habits, how to recognize hunger cues, you'll learn about different breastfeeding positions and will better understand how breastfeeding works, regarding the woman's body and milk production and your baby's needs. You'll learn about basic breastmilk pumping and about the connection between breastfeeding and birth-control.

Women who prepare for breastfeeding in advance know what to expect and have less difficulty feeding their baby.
