Description
Once you have gone through the trauma of divorce, recovered and healed for the most part, and worked on your personal transformation, it’s now time to discover what it would take to create more harmony and balance within it. Specifically, you will review and evaluate the eight different areas of your life.
They are finances, career, health, family and friends, personal growth, romance, fun and recreation, and environment. The beauty of this is that you can change any of the areas to fit your own life. For example, you may be retired and not interested in starting a new career. So, you might change that area to bucket list, volunteering, or community service, etc.
You will take a closer look at each of these areas, and assess which area if transformed will make it a life full of joy and happiness—building a life you love living for the future.
You will do this by first reflecting of the eight different areas and examining each of them to discover if there are upgrades that can be made and identify what specific, targeted action needs to be taken to make it so.
To determine which area needs to be focused on, participants will complete a rating scale, and then plot the numbers on the Wheel of Life. The Wheel of Life is an assessment tool that shows the harmony and balance one has among the eight different areas and helps to pinpoint which area to transform. It’s main function is to give a snapshot of your present reality and the level of satisfaction you feel.
The goal is to pick the right one to transform that will give a major positive boost improving that area but also further enhancing some of the other areas as well.
Once participants know which area they wish to transform, I take them step-by-step through the goal plan process so that they can design and build specific, targeted action steps that will help them achieve success.

Instructor
Donna McGoff is a retired educator and counselor. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Development, Counseling and Family Studies. Presently as a certified life coach, it’s her passion to guide women in learning how to access their inner power and direct it not only to create a vision for the future but to make that vision a reality.
She guides women, like herself, to learn how to override the condition, situation, or circumstance that is keeping them stuck. It enables them to open their minds just enough so that concentration and focus move away from the challenge--to what can be done to move past it.
It doesn’t change the trauma, but that challenge no longer controls their lives—they do. Once they learn how to change their focus, thinking, and attitude, they have the power to design a life of their choosing. The intention is on believing, building, and becoming the person they are meant to be now.
Donna is the author of the book BREAK Up With The Past After Divorce ~ Create A New Relationship: Learn How to Believe, Build, and Become Your Vision for the Future., The Power of Goal Setting, (for children), a collaborative author of Life Coach’s Tool Kit, Pathways To Fulfillment, and Living With Intention.
