Quick Notes

• Let Client know how to remove the hair properly

• Check that the back of the hair is not too tight after tucking

Quick Notes

• Oil the scalp before installing the crochet

• Install the crochet from the side of the braid that is furthest from the ear

• Space the crochet out so that you don't run out of hair as well as making the style look natural (unless the client tells you they want it super full)

• 6-8 packs hair is best (Order on amazon for great prices and automatic 6-8 packs)

• Zig zag the the crochets in the back. Avoid installing them in a straight line

• Remove the crochet hook and start over if it gets caught on a string of the Clients natural hair

• Install the back crochet between the braid vs under the braid.

• I recommend installing the front crochet 1st before the back but not required

  
  

Quick Notes

• Have your client look up so that you can use their nose to create a middle part (Do this EVERY TIME)

• Use this beginning section whenever you do any knotless (The curve from ear to ear and the cross)

• Use body parts (ears, eyes, brows) to match the sides

• Have Client hold their head straight forward while parting

• Use whichever comb feels comfortable for you the is no right answer

• Product will help you tremendously

• Be Mindful that to head curves around

• Do the right or left side first but avoid doing it all at once

• Make a triangle piece to avoid a noticeable line in the middle of the square part

• Put product on all sides of the square part and remember to smooth out with the comb

• Braid in the center of the square for longer lasting braids

• There is not a correct amount of hair to feed in, just make sure that the top has enough to withstand the weight of the braid

• Tuck the hair as you go

• Remember to keep your hands close to the now braided part

• Keep the same amount of hair exposed in the 3 strands all the way down

• Use product to tame the flyaways

• Seal braid by a tied not at the bottom (loop 2-3 times)

• Make sure that the edge is 1 of the 3 sections for the braid

• Smooth the edge and lay the hair in there while being gentle and allowing your product to do most of the work

Dipping The Hair

• Test dipping a piece of curly hair in the hot water BEFORE installing the hair so that you can see if the hair can withstand

• Oil between all of the parts with a oil that is not thick

• Follow these same dipping steps for knotless without curly pieces

• Be MINDFUL of the hot water dipping on the clients natural hair preventing heat damage

• Use perm rods to fix dipping mistakes or to make curly ends

• Clip the the curly pieces or use a steamed towel to replace dipping the hair

• Have your client lean right and left over there shoulder to prevent burning

• Fan the hair out before you allow the hot hair to drop down to sit on their body

• Dip for about 10sec. Be VERY careful

• Use (moose of your choice) to give an extra hold for the curls. This helps the hair not be frizzy

• Moose helps give an extra hold and takes away fly aways that you may not be able to see. Use a blow dryer if you would like.

• Non alcoholic moose is better so that when it touches the scalp it doesn't dry it out
