How you can get your Videoscribe 7 days free trial and the limitations that you may find in it.

What you'll get out of this lecture:

- You'll get to know all the controls you have on the projects screen in Videoscribe.

- The projects screen is the screen you get after having your free trial set up and running and entering your username and password.

- You'll get to know how to create filters to ease the process of searching for a specific projects.

- You'll get to know the several options you have for saving a scribe.

Let's get to know what controls we have to adjust the default settings of all the projects we are about to create in Videoscribe. You can set them for now like the video, by time, you should be able to figure out the default settings that suit most of your projects.

Throughout this lecture, we will go over the project main window screen in Videoscribe. You'll get introduced to all the controls that you have on the project main screen. 

Note: I have had to add text and image as a sample just in order to show you some controls that won't appear unless you do have elements on the canvas  yet there are separate lectures to each along with their detailed settings.

We'll discuss how camera and camera positioning works in Videoscribe including all related controls. I also included the source file in of the example shown in the lecture, so you can download it and check it out. You can find it in the external resources section.

Want to bring your images to life in VideoScribe? This lecture shows you how to bring movement to your images with simple morphing effects. There are alot of creative movements that can be done with this effect including the following which I will show you in the lecture:

- Make an image move.

- Make an image expand outward.

- Make an image disappear.

- Make an image rotate.

- Make an image transform to another one.

Move in is a so simple effect yet it really adds some twist to your scribe. Simply this effect moves your elements in to your canvas instead of being drawn. Let's go through this nice effect in Videoscribe.

You may find some languages that are not supported by Videoscribe. If you encounter this problem, Inkscape can solve this issue. Inkscape is a free and open-source vector graphics editor, let's see how we can use it with Videoscribe to help us write and type languages that are not supported by Videoscribe.

Check the external resources so you can download inkscape if you want to. Also, you will find the working file available to download. 

When importing a bitmap image in Videoscribe, it's drawn as if the hand is scratching the canvas…  if you'd like to convert any bitmap image like PNG or JPG to SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)  so it can be  traced by the hand tool in your scribe instead of this scratching, a quick shuffle through Inkscape is able to fix this.

VideoScribe can only display one element at a time, but you can make it look as though two or more elements.
