This is the introduction to the Create and Design a Modern 3D House in Blender 2.80 course and what you will learn by enrolling!
In this video I show you how to download Blender.
This is a video highlighting some students who have posted their renders and made something unique!
This video is a basic overview of the Blender workflow and how to use it. We cover many topics including: Rotating, Moving, Scaling, Navigating the Viewport, User Interface and much more. If you are already familiar with Blender you don't need to watch this video.
This lecture is for anyone who wants to download the textures used in this course.
In this video we start out modeling our modern house in Blender! In this video we focus on adding the blueprints to the scene and setting up the first floor!
Now that we have our first floor done it's now time to model the second floor!
In this video we will be creating the side wall of our house!
The base model of the house is done and now we can create the ground and the pool!
To add even more detail we will be creating a brick wall in the back to hide the background but also to have some trees on it!
In this video we will be adding water to our pool and learning about displacement!
Apply the scale to reset measurements, then bevel all edges with small amounts and three segments. Place the bevel above booleans and apply it to each object for realistic corners.
This concludes section 2! We have finished modeling our house now we get to move onto the materials!
Now we get into the materials. In this video I show you how to make a materials with all the different textures that you need! We will be using a regular texture, a normal map and a specular map.
In this video we continue creating the materials for the second floor of our house.
In this video we will be creating the material for the brick wall in the back!
The materials are almost done. In this last video of this section we will be creating the materials for the concrete, pool wall tiles and the water material!
Now we get into the lighting! Here we add in an HDR to the scene.
In this video we are gonna give some life to our pool by adding some lights underneath the water!
Now it's time for the exterior lights. In this video we will be working on the outside lights and making our scene look much better!
Now we move onto the interior lights. In this video we will model a basic light and create a couple of ceiling lights for our modern house!
In this video we will be adding the models to the first floor of our modern house in Blender!
In this video we continue adding models and filling up our house!
Finally we finish adding the models and making our house look lived in!
In this video we learn about Weight Painting and how to use it in Blender!
Now it's onto creating the particle system for our grass in Blender!
We finish out this section by creating the grass material and assigning it to our particle system.
In this video we will be creating the stairs to add a bit more detail to the house!
Now it's onto adding some little details that make up the modern house!
Every house needs privacy so in this video I show you how to create some blinds for the windows in Blender using the Cloth Simulation!
Now it's onto the Render settings! In this video we set up the camera and render out an image!
Now that the render is done it's time for some post processing to really make our render stand out!
Now that we have seen what our render looks like it's time to jump back into the project and fix some of the issues!
Congrats on finishing this course! This video is an outro and a discussion on what is next in the course!
In this video I show you how to create a clay version of your modern house!
In this video we jump into the Eevee render engine and I show you how to set up your scene and how to render using this real time engine in Blender 4.2
In this video we will be jumping into workbench and learning how it works and how to create a viewport render!
In this video I will be showing you how to model the modern bed frame in Blender!
Now that we have created the frame let's add the blanket! In this video we will learn about the cloth simulation in Blender!
In this video I show you how to add pillows to the scene using the cloth simulation and pressure!
In this video I show you how to create a super easy fabric material in Blender!
This article is for the links to the textures that we use in this section!
In this video we start creating the tree and using a sapling addon it will make it much easier.
In this video we will be adding the materials to our tree. We will go through how to add in the leaf texture and make it look realistic.
In this video you will learn how to export your tree and put it into a new blender file!
In this video we will be modeling and sculpting the couch in Blender!
In this video we will be creating the base of the couch in Blender!
In this video we create the materials for the couch and learn how to export it to different scenes.
Do you want to learn how to create stunning photorealistic 3D architectural renders in Blender? Do you want to be able to digitally recreate your own house in Blender? By the end of this course you will have made a beautiful 3D modern house. The first section of this course will be focused on modeling our modern house. Over the next couple sections we will be adding materials, textures, modeling and lighting to our scene. I will then show you how to render your image and post process it.
There are a couple bonus videos as well! The first 2 are: How to Create a Clay Version of your Render and how to use the Workbench Engine! After that we jump into the real-time render engine Eevee and learn setup our scene using this engine in Blender!
Learning Blender can be very hard when you first start that's why I built this course for all levels beginner to advanced. I will be showing you step by step on what to do and why we do it. From the basics of modeling to advanced techniques like creating grass with particle systems.
I have also included 3 bonus sections in this course. The first one is creating a realistic tree in Blender. We will go through how to create an organic looking tree, apply textures and use particle systems to create the branches.
The second bonus section is about creating a modern bed! We will learn all about the cloth simulation and how to easily create pillows using it! After that we learn about creating a procedural fabric material!
Finally the last tutorial I will show you how to create a modern couch in Blender. First thing we will do is model and sculpt it. This will add some creases to make it more realistic. Then, of course, the materials and rendering.
I will be giving away 15 professionally made models and 5 high resolution textures. You are free to use these models for other scenes but you are not allowed to sell or upload them. By enrolling in this course you agree those conditions.
What you’ll learn
