Description

Learn how to create professional first-person weapon animations in Blender and bring them into Unreal Engine 5, fully game-ready on the UE5 Mannequin skeleton.

In this 9+ hour, step-by-step course, you'll build a complete FPS animation set for a revolver from scratch. Nothing is skipped: you'll see every key, every curve and every fix, exactly the way it's done in a real game production workflow.

Rig the weapon

You start by building a gun rig in Blender with its own armature, bone constraints and transform limits, so the revolver's moving parts work for firing and reloading.

Aim

Fire, plus the weapon's own fire animation

Reload, built across three lessons and polished until it feels snappy and satisfying

Along the way, you'll learn the techniques that make first-person animation feel good: setting up an efficient animation workspace, creating a reference pose, working with Euler rotation, using Child Of constraints to pass the gun between the hands, and keeping your animations clean and loopable.

Bring it into Unreal Engine 5

You'll learn the correct export settings from Blender and how to import the animations onto the UE5 Mannequin skeleton, so they work in your FPS project instead of breaking on import.

By the end of this course, you'll have a complete, game-ready first-person revolver animation set, and the skills to animate any weapon for your own FPS game.
