  • First Encounter2:34

In this video, we'll talk about our first encounter with the one-time splash screen that appears when you first install Blender and what its settings mean.

If you accidentally skipped the splash screen and want to open it again, you can do so by deleting Blender's configuration folder.

How to Reset Blender's Initial Splash Screen

    • Windows: Open any folder, type %appdata% into the address bar, go into the Blender Foundation folder, and delete the Blender folder inside.

    • macOS: Open a Finder window, go to Go > Go to Folder from the top menu, type ~/Library/Application Support/ into the text box, and delete the Blender folder inside.

    • Linux: Navigate to your home folder, show hidden files (usually by pressing Ctrl + H), go into the .config folder, and delete the blender folder inside.

Description

Master Blender: Start Your 3D Journey with the World’s Most Powerful Free 3D Software.

Have you ever wanted to create your own 3D characters, game assets, or architectural visualizations? Blender is the industry-leading, free open-source tool that makes it possible. This course is a complete, project-based guide designed to take you from an absolute beginner to a confident 3D artist.

Why Choose Blender? The demand for 3D skills is exploding in video games, VR/AR, and digital marketing. While other software costs thousands of dollars, Blender offers a professional-grade suite for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering for free. This course removes the "learning curve" frustration by breaking down Blender’s interface into simple, easy-to-follow steps.

What You Will Learn:

Unlike rigid CAD software, Blender uses Mesh-Based Modeling (vertices, edges, and faces), allowing for total artistic freedom. We will cover the entire 3D pipeline:

  • 3D Modeling: Master box modeling and poly modeling techniques for any object.

  • Sculpting: Learn digital sculpting to create organic shapes and fine details.

  • UV Unwrapping & Shading: Understand how to apply PBR textures and realistic materials.

  • Lighting & Rendering: Use EEVEE and Cycles engines to create stunning, cinematic images.

  • Animation: Learn the fundamentals of keyframes and motion to bring objects to life.

  • Compositing: Use Blender’s built-in editor to polish your final renders.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Absolute Beginners: People who have never opened 3D software before.

  • Aspiring Game Developers: Learn to create optimized 3D assets for Unity or Unreal Engine.

  • Digital Artists & Hobbyists: Turn your 2D sketches into 3D masterpieces or 3D prints.

  • Professionals: Architecture or design pros looking to switch to a free, powerful alternative like Blender.

Why This Course?

  • No Experience Needed: We start from the very first click.

  • Step-by-Step Projects: You won’t just watch; you will build.

  • Up-to-Date: Optimized for the latest Blender versions.
