This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn Blender from scratch. No prior experience required. Over 4 modules you'll go from learning the interface to the final render of a complete 3D scene — a stylized mushroom house. This will be your first portfolio piece.
Module 1. Introduction to Blender and basic shapes
In this module you'll open Blender for the first time and figure it out from scratch — without fear or unnecessary theory. You'll learn how the interface works, how to navigate 3D space, and how the basic tools function. Right after the theory we get straight to work — starting to build the parts of the mushroom house from simple shapes.
What you'll learn: — How to navigate the Blender interface — How to control the camera and move through 3D space — How to work with basic modeling tools
Module assignment: Build the main parts of the mushroom house from basic geometric shapes.
Module 2. Detailing and UV unwrapping
You have a model — now let's make it convincing. In this module you'll add details and prepare the model for texturing. UV unwrapping sounds intimidating, but in practice it's simply a way to "unfold" a 3D object into a flat surface so textures can be applied to it. Without this step, quality texturing isn't possible.
What you'll learn: — How to add details to a model without losing the form — How to understand the logic of UV unwrapping and why it matters — How to prepare a model for texturing
Module assignment: Detail the mushroom house model and complete the UV unwrapping — fully preparing it for the next stage.
Module 3. Texturing
This is where the model comes to life. In this module you'll install a texturing add-on, learn to work with masks and gradients, and start painting the mushroom house. Masking lets you control precisely where and how a texture is applied — it's the key tool for a clean and beautiful result.
What you'll learn: — How to install and use a texturing add-on in Blender — How to work with masks: controlling paint zones precisely and cleanly — How to create smooth gradient transitions and color solutions on the model
Module assignment: Apply textures to the mushroom house model — with masking and gradient transitions.
Module 4. Final detailing and render
The final module — we bring everything to completion. You'll add the last details to the textures, set up the scene, and save the final render. This is your first complete 3D piece — ready for your portfolio.
What you'll learn: — How to finalize textures: adding details and bringing the model to a finished look — How to set up a scene for the final render — How to save and present the result for your portfolio
Module assignment: Finalize the mushroom house textures, set up the scene, and save the final render — your first portfolio piece.
Blender seems complicated — until you know where to start.
You open the program, look at the interface — and have no idea what to click. You find a tutorial, watch it — and it all seems clear. But the moment you close the video, you're lost again. You try to repeat what you saw — and the result looks nothing like it should. Sound familiar? The problem isn't you, and it isn't Blender. The problem is the lack of a system. Most tutorials show individual techniques but never explain how to put it all together and go from start to finish. This course is built differently: a clear structure, a tangible result, and no unnecessary theory — just what you need to create your first real 3D piece.
What to Expect
Over 4 modules and 10 lessons you'll go through the complete cycle of creating a 3D scene. In the first module you'll get comfortable with the interface and immediately start modeling the parts of the mushroom house from basic shapes. In the second you'll add details and master UV unwrapping — a key skill for quality texturing. In the third you'll bring the model to life using masks, gradients, and add-ons. In the final module you'll set up the scene and save the finished render — your first complete 3D piece.
Format
The course is fully self-paced — no deadlines, no waiting for feedback. All lessons and materials are available immediately after purchase. We recommend watching each lesson with Blender open and repeating the actions straight away — skills stick much faster that way.
