A journal Bible encourages inspiration and creativity, adding love and respect to every page throughout the years as you devote yourself to God’s Word. Translation is important, but so is the freedom to create and color.

I love using colored pencils in my Bible. These are very affordable and still remain one of my favorite sets. Pencils allow you to smooth out hues and eliminate lines so your finished work looks more like a painting! Lets discuss which ones are most suitable for Bible journaling.

I use digital images in my Bible journaling all of the time. Mostly because they’re beautiful and I know exactly what the image is going to look like when I’ve finished. To transfer digital images to your Bible, you need an image, graphite paper, pens, and your Bible journal. Here are step-by-step instructions to get started.
