This course will help you learn how to rightly understand what God Almighty has spoken to us in his Word.
We will begin by discussing the Bible. What is it? Where did it come from? How does God use it reveal to mankind his works, his ways, and his will in the world? We will then discuss the glorious and universal story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation showing that God reigns, saves, and satisfies for his glory and his people’s good.
It will then be demonstrated that the Scriptures needs interpretation if we are to rightly hear God’s voice when we open this book. We will spend the remainder of our time learning how to get at the meaning of the biblical text and applying the truths we discover to our lives.
