It's important to set an intention before you begin any project in life so you stay on track and, at the end, you can look back and see just how far you have come. Such a simple exercise yet such a powerful exercise.

To set your intention for this course, I shall take you through a short 10-minute meditation which I have also added to the resource section of this lecture. Also provided is an Intention-Setting document on which you can record your intention for this course - we shall refer to this document again at the end of the course.

Whatever energy you work with in your business, be it your Higher Self, the Angels, Loved Ones who've crossed over, Animal or Spirit Guides, or the Divine, it's paramount that you open up, prior to studying, so you can tune into and receive that guidance, those messages, and that connection.

Whilst a lot of focus is placed on symbols and symbolism, don't underestimate the importance of colour on a card.

Sometimes whenever we’re interpreting cards, you need to have some flexibility because, although you’ll have meanings behind each colour and symbol that you find, sometimes you have to think a little bit outside the box.

Colours, like symbols, are incredibly important when you are interpreting cards but it’s not just looking at the colour, all the time. Considering the shade and tone of the colour may also be important.

Sometimes different tones of colours can have different meanings. How do you choose which meaning to use in a reading?
