
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart for safe belly dance posture, unlock the knees, tuck the tailbone, keep the pelvis neutral, and lift the chest with arms out to the sides.
Master the forward horizontal figure of eight in belly dance, using a deep twist and hip slides from back to the front corners, with feet hip-width apart.
Learn the downward undulation, or downward camel, in belly dance level 2, coordinating chest release with a contracted belly and pelvis release to create a chest-to-pelvis wave.
Master upward undulation by tucking the pelvis, drawing in the belly, and releasing the chest with a straight spine; integrate with downward undulations for a fluid sequence.
Travel in belly dance with level 2 techniques, including hip box walks, inward and outward myers, over undulations, and camels, while keeping feet flat and close to the floor.
Combine belly dance movements to practice smooth transitions and test posture and execution while performing hip twist, twist, kick, and up steps with layered timing, two on-the-spot sets, and music.
Transform into a true dancer with fluidity in your movements, precise isolations and lots of layering. Accumulate all the skills you have learnt in previous classes thus far.
Push your skills further and challenge your technique, learn level 2 movements, strengthen muscles, refine isolations, learn various styles and combinations. Some belly dance experience required, but not essential.

A fun and varied class where your movements, technique, memory and isolations will be worked on. By working on specific techniques, posture, movements, styling, musicality and combinations, you will have the ability to grace the dance style with confidence and presence.
Guidance and support will be provided throughout the duration of the course and therefore you will see yourself grow into a dancer as well as get more fit. It is an extremely highly rewarding undertaking, especially if this means getting out of your comfort zone and facing any fears or apprehensions you may have
