I wrote this course in the hope of making the ukulele accessible and enjoyable for complete beginners, encouraging a gentle “little and often” practice approach.
You’ll learn:
How to hold, tune, and strum your ukulele
Your first chords and basic strumming patterns
How to read music in the form of tablature (TAB) to guide your playing
Well-known melodies and tunes to practice and enjoy
Each section includes clear video demonstrations, close-up shots of finger placement, downloadable TAB PDFs, and MP3 guides to help you play along at your own pace.
This course also shares top tips on overcoming finger pain, practicing effectively, and continuing to develop your skills beyond the lessons with fun and engaging practice ideas that keep you motivated and excited to play music regularly.
The first video introduces basic posture and how to hold your instrument, followed by detailed close-ups so you can see exactly which fingers play which strings.
The learning environment is built on patience and self-compassion—embracing mistakes as part of the journey. There’s no rush to complete the course; take your time and practice at your own pace, enjoying every step of the learning process.
Little by little, you’ll grow your ukulele skills with confidence and a smile.
