  • What is Scale and Octave?2:53

Define scale as a collection of notes and explain octaves as pitch ranges, using open position and C major scale examples and mention pentatonic scales.

Learn to convert major scales to minor and back by lowering the 3rd, 6th, and 7th notes by a semitone, and raising them to restore major.

  • How to remember scale construction formula5:53

Learn the major and minor scale construction formulas and how to remember them using whole steps and semitones, with C major and A minor note patterns.

  • How to read and write tabs6:26
