Beginner Fingerpicking Blues Guitar

Renowned Country Blues performer/instructor Tom Feldmann teaches the basics of fingerpicking Blues guitar.  Playing the Melody with an Alternating bass is the main foundation to fingerpicking guitar and this lesson series takes you step by step through this main component.

Building on this basic foundation, you will work through C.C. Rider which uses D, G, and A chords.  You will work through each chord section, focusing on how to play each melodic phrase found in these chord shapes.  We will discuss hand placement, pinky anchoring, palm muting, which fingers to use, etc.,
