A roll pattern is a series of eight notes picked repeatedly with the thumb, index, and middle fingers on the right hand (if right handed, opposite if left handed).
This video is not at a beginner speed (I consider 100 beats per minute beginner level, and 152 intermediate level), but I wanted to provide a more advanced speed for you to strive to achieve in your training.
This course is designed for people who are interested in learning the banjo using the Earl Scruggs style, and is geared toward the absolute beginner level student with no prior music knowledge.
