This Fundamentals Part 1 Chapter focuses on giving you some important facts and multiple key points
that are designed to help you feel energized and keep you focused on becoming happier at work.

what to do if you're facing deeper challenges.
More often than not, what we think is troubling us ends up just being a symptom. And the symptom is caused by core issues, which are often not as obvious as you think.
This module introduces four broad categories that tend to be the main causes of the unhappiness we face at work. It breaks each down; giving you a number of specific examples to help you understand the concepts better.
This video then guides you through your first in a series of exercises to start getting you clear on exactly what the issue is that is keeping you from becoming happier at work. By the end of this module, you should have a much deeper understanding of what is driving your unhappiness.
Where the last lecture helped you get really clear about the "What" of your personal workplace challenge, this module guides you to go deeper and uncover the real "Why" of your issue.
When we are unhappy, we often find ourselves stuck or unable to take action to change our situation. As such, this training video also deals with the issue of "FEAR"; why it's healthy, how to acknowledge it and most importantly, how to manage it, because more often than not, fear is what holds us back in taking action to changing our situation.
Today's lecture is designed to help you get back into the "driver's seat". It's focus is on helping you regain psychological control over the challenges that are making you feel unhappy at work. Understanding how to do this is key in becoming the champion of your own destiny. You'll be guided through an exercise designed to help you identify what aspects you can influence. This can lead to psychologically empowering insights. After this, you should be feeling more confident and positive about the challenges you're facing in the workplace.
Today, you will be given an overview of how our minds work in relation to the power of “focus". It then introduces you to an important tool that can help you manage your thoughts to get you into an empowering mindset to create potential solutions and ideas on how to solve the problems you’re facing right now. Through this process, you’ll also be guided through a meditative creative visualisation exercise.
By the end of this module, you can expect to have a set of creative ideas that, when actioned upon, will help you move to unlock more happiness at work.
This module builds further on the ideas you generated in the last lecture to solve the challenges you are facing in the workplace. And today, you'll be concentrating on "Getting Focused".
As such, you will be guided through a process on how to take your list of ideas from yesterday and turn them into a set of actual, viable action items. You'll do this by answering a set of 3 directed questions.
By the end of this module, you can expect to have a comprehensive set of actions that you might seriously want to implement, in order for you to become happier at work.
In this chapter, you'll be taken through a process of sifting through your ideas and action items you came up with in the last module You'll then start critically analyzing them based on how impactful they are and your readiness to implement them. This is an essential step because it is crucial in deciding what selective set of actions to take, so that you can manage your workplace challenge most effectively, and in so doing, becoming happier at work faster.
