
This is an introduction to the course- Becoming a Sports Agent & Building Your Agency Brand. In the introduction, we provide background information on our experience in the world of professional sports, as well as outline the course content.
In our first chapter, we provide the step-by-step process of how aspiring agents can become licensed and accredited.
In this chapter, we teach aspiring agents about recruiting as well as sourcing athlete and coach clients in order to sign them.
In this chapter, we focus on agents building their brand and their agency's brand. We also focus on the different PR and advertising strategies that can be effective in enhancing an agent/agency's brand.
In this Chapter, we focus on the marketing and promotion methods that agents can use when presenting
their athlete clients. In part one, we focus on the Resume method an what needs to be highlighted.
In part 2 of agents using marketing and promotion methods, we discuss the importance of video footage and how it contributes to their athlete clients getting contractual offers from teams.
In this chapter, our focus is on teaching aspiring agents about the importance of building relationships with professional sports teams' front office. We also teach methods that can be used in the relationship building and maintenance phase-of the relationship between the sports agent and the team.
This is an introductory course into the world of professional sports for aspiring sports agents. It is a course that teaches aspiring agents on how to get started in entering the agency business. Learners will be able to get the step-by-step process in detail on how to begin the process of becoming a licensed and registered sports agent.
Valuable information is also presented on how agents can navigate the industry while building up their network with professional sports teams. Learners will also learn the tactics and technique surrounding recruiting and sourcing out potential athlete and coach clients. Aspiring agents will also learn the importance of being able to market and promote clients to the right teams, while using effective methods to promote clients. The course further teaches aspiring agents about the importance of building a personal brand as an agent, and building the agency brand to attract clients. PR, marketing and advertising strategies are explained in detail on how they can contribute to an agent's growth and success within the business of professional sports.
Further more, the course includes information on the importance of agents building relationships with professional sports teams and how they can go about making the connection. Agents are taught methods that they can use to be proactive in connecting with professional team front offices.
