Our animal companions (pets) are a great part of our lives and yet many are going through long periods of loneliness, lack of enrichment and stress stacking without our awareness, which impairs their general well-being in the long run. Also, unmanaged stress for long periods lowers immunity and makes them more prone to a multitude of ailments ranging from acute to chronic. When people have children they make the necessary preparations for what will truly be a new stage of life with its own set of joys and challenges, however, with pets, we are usually just given a pet at a rescue/shelter and given (if any) just some basic guidelines which fall short on teaching us how to take care of our pets based on their needs. During this course we will prepare you for success so you can positively impact the lives of your animal companions with compassionate caregiving, while also managing your emotional balance and mental well-being, striving to have a more harmonious home for yourself, your pets and your family. First timers and experienced pet parents, this course has everything you need to become the parent your pet wish they could ask for! Cat lovers, there is a whole segment devoted to nurturing and respectfully caring for your pointy ear predators, so they can thrive on being their natural selves, even within 4 walled homes.

Did the distribution system suddenly gift you with a furry friend? Are you thinking of getting your first pet? What about a second pet? or perhaps you have been a pawrent for a long time and could benefit from having a fresh outlook on your animal companions? Well, this course is for you! You will learn a three-dimensional approach on how to look after your pets’ needs and ensure there is more harmony at home as well. With a strong education on stress and an active focus on stress prevention via awareness and enrichment, you will escalate new heights in your journey as a pet pawrent and for the sake of your furry babies.
The world is changing and pets have become a key aspect of our daily lives. Although this course is not a direct opposition to having pets outside (since that is a personal choice), it will bring awareness to some of the dangers outside, normalized forms of animal cruelty and focus more on indoor enrichment and how to keep pets happy and healthy inside. There will be valuable information for everyone and it will also provide a strong foundation for people with cats, since they have very specific needs and suffer the most from not having what they need. They are also silent bearers and will only display discomfort through subtle signals or when it is too late which is why every cat pawrent (or future cat pawrent) must have some general guidelines to start their journey with cats.
Some of the topics covered will be:
*Conscious pet parenting
*What stresses our pets and what to do about it
*How to be a healthy caregiver
*Creative ideas for enrichment
*The main mistakes of every 1st timer
*How to do proper introductions
*Discovering our own triggers through our animals
*Basics of animal behavior and why they do what they do
*Activate your pet parent instinct!
During this time together, I will share with you all that I have learned with a mixed approach where we work both on ourselves and improving the lives of our pets along the way. Just like parenting children, if the parents don’t take an active stance on their own personal development, their children will only be able to experience growth and positive change in a limited way, which is why this is a collaborative effort where all parties involved get a so-called upgrade to a more balanced way of living as well as species appropriate care.
The goal is for this course to give you a solid preparation or revamp on current skills and also reawaken your inner child through play, transformation and using your creativity to tailor to your pet’s ever curious nature. Essentially, it also aims to prevent the rate of animal surrender due to unrealistic expectations, lack of animal knowledge and human lack of awareness. Learning that we can be the change we seek, we can be proactive animal protectors without the overwhelm, because we are balanced from the inside out. Join along for a fun, captivating and enriching life-changing course, with a trigger here and there to help us heal of limiting and stagnant ways. It is in the discomfort that we experience our greatest growth, plus I will hold your hand all the way.
