If you want to become a costume designer, get design experience, build a skill set, and then start your career

Have you created your own superhero for a comic, novel, or film, or just for fun? To really bring your creation to life, you’ll need to come up with a great costume. Keep classic superhero design elements — like masks, capes, etc. — in mind, but also think about what you want your design to evoke regarding your character. A great superhero costume has a bold yet simple essence — one that can be adapted and personalized by emerging artists or cosplayers without losing its iconic and immediately recognizable status.

Catwoman is a great costume choice - she's strong, she's sexy and her outfit is instantly recognizable, despite the many interpretations the catsuit has gone through over the years. Probably the most popular catsuit to date is the feline creation made famous by Michelle Pfeiffer in Tim Burton's Batman .
