Description

Throughout my journey—from preparing for the IIT entrance exam to studying at IIT and later working as an engineer at NVIDIA, A 5 Trillion Dollar US Company—I came to appreciate something that extends far beyond mathematics itself.

The greatest value of learning mathematics is not simply solving equations or proving theorems. It is the way mathematics trains your mind to think. Every challenging problem strengthens your ability to analyze, reason logically, recognize patterns, and break complex problems into manageable parts. Over time, these habits become second nature, allowing you to approach technical and real-world challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and precision.

Looking back, I believe that the mathematical foundation I developed during my IIT preparation and education played a significant role in how I approached engineering challenges at NVIDIA. While technical knowledge is essential, it is often critical thinking, logical reasoning, and systematic problem solving that distinguish exceptional engineers. Those are skills that mathematics quietly develops through years of consistent practice.

That belief is the inspiration behind every course I create.

If you commit to learning mathematics deeply rather than memorizing formulas, you will gain far more than mathematical knowledge. That is the philosophy behind every lesson in this course.

How This Course Will Help You Master Precalculus and Calculus 1:

Mathematics is not difficult because of the concepts—it is difficult because of how it is traditionally taught.

This course bridges that gap by building an unshakeable mathematical foundation. Instead of asking you to memorize formulas, I focus on helping you understand why mathematical ideas work. We systematically build your foundations in Precalculus and Trigonometry so that Calculus 1 becomes a natural next step rather than an overwhelming challenge.

Whether you are a mathematics student preparing to excel in Precalculus, Trigonometry, or Calculus 1, or an aspiring AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Science professional building the mathematical foundation for advanced technologies, this course provides exactly what you need.

Every topic is taught through carefully structured video lessons, intuitive explanations, step-by-step worked examples, and quizzes designed to reinforce genuine understanding—not memorization.

What You Will Master In This Course:

Precalculus

  • Understand and recognize functions using the vertical line test.

  • Find the domain and range of any given function with absolute accuracy.

  • Solve average rate of change problems step-by-step with zero guesswork.

  • Analyze function behaviors to instantly categorize even, odd, or composite functions.

  • Determine inverse functions and map the domain and range of their inverse structures.

  • Locate global and local extrema using precise graphic properties.

Trigonometry

  • Apply triangle properties and use pythagoras theorem to solve right triangles.

  • Evaluate all six trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent).

  • Master trigonometric functions of standard angles.

  • Apply key identities, including complementary angle, pythagorean, negative angle, sum/difference, and product-to-sum formulas.

  • Evaluate non-standard angles cleanly using core trigonometric identities.

  • Utilize the laws of sines and cosines to solve for unknown sides and angles of any triangle.

  • Prove triangle similarity and use similar triangle properties to calculate unknown dimensions.

Calculus 1

  • Define and evaluate limits of a function directly using graphical analysis.

  • Calculate one-sided limits (left-hand and right-hand limits) to assess function's local behavior around a given point on graph.

  • Assess function continuity and track structural asymptotes from its given graph.

  • Define and understand derivatives of a function.

  • Execute the first principle of calculus to find derivative of a function from scratch.

  • Master all fundamental derivative rules: power, constant, sum, difference, product, quotient, and the vital chain rule.

  • Solve trigonometric derivatives using a structured sequence of step-by-step mathematical examples.

  • Master exponential and logarithmic derivatives with absolute theoretical precision.

Who Should Enroll for This Course:

  • Math Students preparing to ace upcoming pre calculus, trigonometry, or calculus 1 exams using rigorous, mathematically precise explanations.

  • Aspiring AI, Machine Learning & Computer Science Engineers who want to build their precalculus and calculus foundation needed for understanding the mathematical foundations behind advanced optimization techniques used in AI and Machine Learning.

  • Self-Taught Developers & Software Engineers looking to move past simple syntax frameworks and understand the actual theoretical math that powers advanced computing.
