Canva has announced the release of Canva Suite 2.0, featuring major updates designed to improve the design experience. The new version introduces advanced AI-powered tools that enhance both creativity and efficiency. One of the key updates is the Canva Sheet feature, which allows users to create and manage spreadsheets directly within Canva.
This addition expands Canva's capabilities, enabling seamless integration of data and design in a single workspace. The updated photo editor is another significant improvement. This tool provides advanced photo editing functions, allowing users to enhance and customize images without needing third-party software. It offers a wide range of editing options to meet professional design needs.
Canva Code is also a new feature, providing users with the ability to incorporate code-based elements into their designs. This feature supports the creation of technical and interactive visuals, offering greater flexibility for complex projects. Additional tools include Canva Magic, which leverages artificial intelligence to simplify the design process, and advanced math functions that allow users to handle complex calculations and data visualizations directly within the platform.
For video projects, the new captioning feature enables users to add and fully customize captions within videos. This update enhances accessibility and engagement, making it easier to produce high-quality, polished video content.
These updates in Canva Suite 2.0 are designed to streamline creative workflows and provide a more powerful set of tools for a variety of projects. The new features cater to both beginners and experienced designers, making Canva a more versatile and comprehensive design platform.
Converting a flat image into an editable file is a common struggle for designers, but Canva Magic Layers makes this process incredibly simple and fast. This lesson focuses on how you can take a standard JPEG and turn it into a flexible document where every part of the design is separated. We start by finding inspiration from a reference image and using AI prompts to generate a fresh, high quality version of that concept. This ensures you have a clean starting point before we dive into the technical side of the Canva editor.
Once your image is ready, the magic happens when you use the Magic Layers tool to break the picture down into its individual pieces. Instead of spending hours manually cutting out objects or trying to find matching fonts, the AI automatically detects the different elements for you. Furthermore, you can then move objects around, change the background, or even edit text that was originally part of the flat image. Subsequently, you will learn how to organize these pieces and use keyboard shortcuts to manage your workflow like a pro.
The real power of this technique is that it doesn't just stay inside Canva. Consequently, we cover how to export your work as a layered PDF so you can keep your layers intact when moving the project into Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. This is a huge time saver for anyone who needs to bridge the gap between quick AI tools and professional design software. By the end of this video, you will be able to take almost any static image and turn it into a fully customizable, multi layered design file ready for any project.
Welcome to Class 6! In this video lecture, we'll explore two websites that provide valuable inspiration and content for creating captivating social media posts. Our focus today will be on designing an engaging social media post. Let's dive in!
The first website we'll explore is Playground AI. Here, we can access a wide range of images to incorporate into our social media posts. Let's browse through the animal section. Look at this captivating image—I'll download it for our project. Next, we have avaide.com, a website that allows us to scale and enhance image sizes. Once we've enhanced the image to our desired specifications, we'll proceed to erase.bg.
This powerful tool will remove the background from our image while preserving its high-quality resolution. Please note that the maximum recommended image size is 5000 pixels. Now that we have our edited image, let's import it into Canva, our go-to design platform. This image adds a delightful touch to our design options. Feel free to explore other images and get creative with your choices. I find this adorable image particularly inspiring—I might use it for future classes.
In upcoming videos, I'll also demonstrate how to create animated social media posts. To begin, we'll need a circle element. Let's navigate to the circle section and select a suitable option. I'll change the color to this appealing shade. We can then copy and paste the circle to create multiple instances. Next, let's add some text to our design. Canva offers a variety of text styles to choose from. I've selected this one and maintained a consistent color scheme. Now, we'll ungroup the elements and customize the text to fit our needs. In this case, I'll use "Testing Post" as a placeholder.
To enhance our social media post, we can consider incorporating social media icons. We can either search for icons ourselves or utilize an AI magic tool to suggest social media icons for the bottom section of our design. These icons can add a professional touch to our post. Feel free to copy and paste them as needed. Additionally, Canva provides pre-designed templates specifically tailored for social media posts. While these templates are convenient,
I encourage you to explore your creativity and experiment with new ideas. Draw inspiration from AI-powered websites like Playground AI and customize the images to your liking. This concludes our discussion on designing social media posts. I hope this class has provided you with valuable insights and inspiration. Thank you for joining me, and I look forward to seeing your creative designs in the future!
Hello everyone and welcome to class number eight! In this video, I'll be teaching you how to create an impressive flyer design using Canva. Let's dive right into the tutorial. To start, create a new file with the appropriate dimensions for your flyer. You can search for image placeholders in the elements section to find frames that will enhance your design. Select the desired frame and begin adding images to it.
You can explore the image library within Canva to find suitable photos. Don't forget to resize, rotate, and group the elements to achieve the desired layout. For the body text, choose a suitable font and size. Feel free to experiment and rotate the text to add an artistic touch. Additionally, you can incorporate social media icons if needed by copying and pasting them into the design.
If you prefer, you can also customize existing flyer templates available in Canva. These templates are professionally designed and can save you time and effort. However, I recommend gaining experience in graphic design with tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating truly exceptional flyer designs. I hope you found this tutorial helpful and learned something new. Don't forget to join me in the next video for more exciting content. Thank you for watching!
Welcome, everyone, to class number 11 of our Canva course series. In this video, I'll be sharing valuable insights on creating an appealing eBook or book cover design using Canva. This knowledge will help you enhance your design skills and produce captivating covers. Let's get started!
To begin, we'll create an A4 document as the canvas for our cover design. I've researched various backgrounds and filtered them to display free templates. I've also utilized Playground AI and removed the backgrounds from the images, making them suitable for our cover designs.
Let's take a closer look at the template I've selected. I'll customize it by copying and pasting the background elements onto our canvas. This creates a foundation for our design. Next, I'll add the text, "Story of Cute Lamb," using a script font. We'll explore the available script fonts and choose the one that complements our design. I'll adjust the font size to 100 and set the color to white. Remember to group the image and text elements for easier management.
Now, let's move on to another design option. Here's a different template that catches my eye. I'll incorporate the image, flip it if necessary, and add gradient backgrounds to give it a vibrant look. The text will be placed using an appropriate style, ensuring legibility with a white font color.
Feel free to add additional text elements, such as a tagline or a captivating quote. Don't forget to include the author's name, using the provided text style. Adjust the font size and position as needed.
Once you're satisfied with your design, you can download the cover and utilize it for your eBooks or physical books. Remember, you can gather inspiration from Playground AI for image ideas and generate unique designs using AI-powered tools. Don't hesitate to remove backgrounds and fine-tune your cover's visual appeal.
Lastly, I'll share the project link with you so that you can explore and experiment further. Feel free to check it out and gain inspiration for your own projects.
I hope this video has been informative and inspiring. Creating an engaging eBook or book cover design is now within your reach. Stay tuned for our next video, where we'll delve into more exciting topics. Thank you for joining me today.
Hello everyone and welcome to class number nine! In this video, I'll be teaching you how to create engaging blog posts for your website or social media campaigns.
Let's dive right into the tutorial. Using Canva, you can create stunning blog post designs that are perfect for your website or social media platforms. You can resize the designs to fit your specific needs. Today, we'll be focusing on creating a blog post about the top 10 best cameras in the market.
Browse through the available templates and select the one that suits your needs. Make sure to replace any placeholder images with high-quality photos of the cameras you want to feature. If necessary, you can edit the images, remove backgrounds, and enhance their appearance using the techniques I explained in a previous video. Once you have the desired image in place, you can customize the text. Choose a font that aligns with your blog's style and make any necessary adjustments to the font size and color. Don't hesitate to experiment with different text effects to make it more visually appealing.
Remember, these designs can be utilized on your website or as part of your ad campaigns. The Canva templates, along with Playground AI images, provide you with a wide range of possibilities to enhance your blog post designs. By following these steps, you can create captivating visuals that will engage your audience. I hope you found this tutorial helpful. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the previous videos where I explain useful techniques for maximizing the potential of Canva and Playground AI.
Stay tuned for the next video, and thank you for watching!
Welcome to class number 12! In this video, I will guide you through creating an eye-catching ecommerce product advertisement design. To begin, let's create a custom document in Canva with a size of 1080 pixels by 1080 pixels.
For this demonstration, we will be designing an advertisement for the Logitech gaming headset. Although we are using the free version of Canva, we will incorporate additional elements to make our design more impactful. To add the "50% off" icon, I recommend visiting stockadobby.com, a website where you can download free images and vector graphics.
I have already downloaded an image but it had a white background, so I used erase.bg to remove it quickly. Now that we have the image with a transparent background, we can proceed. Let's delete the existing "50% off" graphic and replace it with the one we downloaded. Make sure to adjust its size and position accordingly. To create a heading for the product, add a text box with the text "Logitech Gaming Headset." Rotate it by 90 degrees and place it in a prominent location.
Experiment with font styles and sizes to find the perfect fit. I recommend using a font size of 50. To further enhance the design, let's add a call-to-action button. Rotate it by 90 degrees and resize it to around 30 pixels. You can choose a button shape from the available options and customize its color. Ensure that the text color is legible, usually black or a contrasting shade. This simple product advertisement design is now complete. Feel free to customize it further or explore other Canva templates that suit your needs.
If you prefer using a pre-designed template, you can create a new page, copy all the elements, and paste them onto the new page. Delete any animations and make the necessary modifications. I hope you found this video helpful. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to comment or reach out to me through email or the Udemy platform. I appreciate your participation in this lecture. I look forward to seeing you in the next video. Thank you for watching!
Welcome to Canva course lesson number ten. I'll walk you through the steps of using Canva to make a captivating Fiverr gig image in this video. With this information, you'll be able to produce eye-catching gig photos that raise awareness of your event. Let's get going! It's crucial to first comprehend the ideal size for a Fiverr gig image. I'll show you how to make a project that is specially sized to fit a Photoshop gig image on Fiverr.
We'll start by collecting ideas for images from Playground AI.com. Look around the website for photographs that are relevant to the theme or industry of your gig. When you've located the ideal photographs, save them to your computer by downloading them. Because we are using Canva's free edition, there is no direct way to remove backgrounds from Canva. I'll nevertheless distribute a resource file that comes with the Lightshot snapshot utility. We can extract particular colors from the downloaded photographs with the aid of this program. It's a useful tool for producing visually appealing gig photos.
Let's now upload the pictures to Canva. Group and arrange them as necessary. You can duplicate and proportionally resize the photos by using the shift and alt keys simultaneously. Upload the Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fiverr logos as well. Don't forget to use the proper tool to remove the backdrop from the Fiverr logo. Your gig image is starting to take shape at this time.
However, you may improve it even more by adding further features. Think about including icons for 24-hour delivery, 100 percent quality work, or any other pertinent selling features that set your services apart on Fiverr. Create a distinctive gig image that reflects your specialized offerings and highlights your knowledge. By employing this technique, you can develop a polished Fiverr gig image that stands out in the industry. Keep Playground AI.com in mind if you need more ideas.
The website provides a plethora of inspiration and tools to spark your imagination. I hope you learned something from and found value in this video. It's easy to create a compelling image for your Fiverr gig. You can efficiently advertise your services and draw potential customers with Canva and the appropriate strategies. I appreciate you watching with me, and I hope to see you in our next video.
Welcome to class number 15! In this video, I'll guide you through the process of creating an animated lower third design using Canva.com. By the end of this tutorial, you'll be able to create captivating lower thirds for your videos. Let's dive right into the content!
To begin, you'll need to create a new document. Click on the settings and select the desired document specifications. Once you've set up your document, click on "Create Design" to start working on your design. Next, navigate to the elements section and search for the Facebook icon. Canva provides a wide range of icons for you to choose from. Select the Facebook icon that best suits your design. Now, let's add the text to our lower third. Choose the text you'd like to use and ungroup it if necessary.
Adjust the size and position of the text to your preference. You can use the shift key to select both the icon and the text and move them together for better alignment. Now comes the exciting part: animation! Click on the icon and explore the available animation options. Please note that some advanced animation settings may require a premium version of Canva. However, you can still achieve impressive results with the basic animation options. Select an animation style that suits your design and apply it to your lower third.
You can also add text animations to enhance the visual appeal. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the premium version, so I can't demonstrate the advanced animation settings. However, with the premium version, you can further customize the animation positions and effects. After applying the animation, preview your design to see how it looks. You can get a sense of how your lower third will appear in your videos. Once you're satisfied with your animated lower third design, it's time to download it.

Welcome to class number 16, where we will explore the fascinating world of creating Instagram stories using Canva.com. This video is packed with valuable insights, so let's dive right in.
To begin, click on "Create Design" and select the Instagram Story format. This will provide you with a blank canvas to work with. Now, let's move on to the elements section. We'll start by adding a gradient to our design. Canva offers a wide range of gradients to choose from. Select the one that suits your style and resize it accordingly. Next, navigate to the frame section and add a frame to your design. Resize it as needed. Now, it's time to add an image. Upload your desired image and place it within the frame.
To make your image more captivating, let's add an animation to it. Explore the available animation options and choose one that enhances the visual appeal of your image. Now, let's focus on adding text. You can use the existing text or create your own. Modify the text as desired and ungroup it if necessary. You can also apply animations and effects to the text to make it more engaging. For instance, you can add a glitch effect or experiment with different animation styles.
Please note that certain animation options may require a premium version of Canva. In the element section, search for "swipe up" animation to add an interactive element to your Instagram story. Browse through the available graphics and select one that suits your purpose. You can also utilize the Pro features if you have a premium version of Canva. Welcome to class number 17, where we will explore an exciting way to enhance your Instagram stories. In a previous class, I demonstrated how to create an Instagram story template, but today I want to show you a different approach that will add more captivating effects to your stories and reels. Instead of using a simple gradient or background color, you can incorporate engaging videos into your designs. In the previous class, I inserted a video and positioned it behind the layers.
Now, let's play the video and observe the impressive effects it brings to your stories and reels. Please note that this feature requires a Canva Pro version. However, if you prefer not to invest in Canva Pro, there are alternative options. You can visit websites like stock.adobe.com or pexels.com to access free gradient videos. Simply search for the desired gradient, download it, and replace the background with the downloaded video.
This way, you can achieve a similar effect without the Canva watermark. This short video aims to provide you with more ideas to enhance your Instagram story and reels designs. By incorporating videos, you can make your content more dynamic and visually appealing. Once you have downloaded the desired gradient video, upload it to Canva.
You may need to wait for the upload process to complete. Afterward, delete the previous background layer, right-click on the new video layer, and send it to the back.
Thank you for joining this class, and I look forward to seeing you in our next video.
Welcome to class number 18, where I will guide you on creating stunning Instagram images using Canva.com. This video will equip you with the necessary skills to optimize your Instagram presence. Let's dive right into it.
To begin, we need to create a custom-sized design. Set the dimensions to approximately 3240 pixels. This size ensures high-quality images for your Instagram feed. Once you have set the dimensions, access the settings menu and enable the display of margins. Now, navigate to the elements section and search for "Instagram grids." Choose the grid design that suits your preference.
It's essential to find a grid layout that complements the content you plan to showcase. Remember, the grid is just a guide to help you visualize the final outcome. Next, it's time to upload your image. Use the shift key to adjust and position the image within the canvas. Take your time to find the ideal placement that enhances the visual impact of your content. Once you are satisfied, remove the grid design, and proceed to download the final image.
Now, let's explore an online tool called "Instagram Image Grid Maker." Conduct a search for this tool, and you will find several options. Choose the top-rated website, such as mysocialbootig.co. This platform enables you to split your image into multiple sections, creating a captivating grid effect. Upload your image to the grid maker tool, and it will automatically split it into nine separate images.
Each image corresponds to a section of the grid. Download these individual images and upload them to your Instagram feed, ensuring they appear in the correct sequence. Remember, this grid design is only for demonstration purposes, providing you with an idea of how your final image will look on Instagram. Feel free to adjust the position of your image within the grid to create the desired visual impact.
I hope you found this video helpful in mastering the art of creating impressive Instagram grid images. Your increased proficiency in using Canva.com will undoubtedly enhance your Instagram presence. Thank you for joining this class, and I look forward to seeing you in our next video.

Hello and welcome to this Canva lecture 22. In this class, we will cover the process of creating and publishing a website using Canva.com. This tutorial marks an important milestone as it may be the second last class of this course. So let's dive into today's content.
We'll explore how Canva.com offers the surprising ability to publish websites. You can use your own domain or even leverage Canva's domain for this purpose. This feature eliminates the need for purchasing a domain and hosting, as well as setting up a WordPress website. Instead, Canva provides customizable templates that you can use to create your personal website, portfolio, or blog.
To start, visit Canva.com and click on the website icon on the home page. If you have the pro version, you'll have access to a wide range of templates. Search for the template that suits your needs, such as a designer portfolio template. Once you find a suitable template, you can customize it by adjusting the text, adding images, and modifying the layout. To customize the text, simply double-click on it and make the necessary changes. Similarly, you can upload your own images or choose from the ones provided by Canva. Simply go to the upload section, select the desired image, and add it to your website.
You can replace existing images by deleting them and pasting the new ones. Feel free to add additional sections or pages to your website based on your requirements. Canva provides a user-friendly interface that allows you to adjust and customize elements easily. Once you are satisfied with your design, it's time to publish your website. Click on the "Publish website" button located at the top-left corner of the interface. You'll be presented with options to include or exclude a navigation bar.
A navigation bar contains links to different sections or pages of your website, similar to the ones you see on udemy.com. If you don't have your own domain, you can opt for a free domain provided by Canva, such as "yourname.canva.site." However, if you have your own domain or wish to purchase one, you can proceed accordingly. Enter the desired URL for your website and follow the instructions to finalize the publication.
Note that there is an option to prevent search engines like Google from indexing your website. Make sure to uncheck this option if you want your website to be discoverable through search engines. Once the publishing process is complete, you can check your website and admire the results.
Right-clicking and inspecting the website's code is also possible for those interested in the technical aspects. That's it! You have successfully learned how to create and publish a website using Canva.com. I hope you found this video helpful. Stay tuned for more exciting content in the next lecture. Thank you for watching!
Hello and welcome to the final video of this course. I hope you enjoyed it. If needed, I may add some bonus videos in the future, but for now, this will be the last class.
In this video, we'll explore the applications of artificial intelligence integrated with Canva's website. To access these AI features, go to the app section. Here are some of the trending sections: - Midterms Text to Image: Enter any prompt, and Canva will provide matching results in image form. - Share Point: A feature that allows you to share your work. - DID AI Presenters: Create artificial intelligence videos, such as headshot body and QR codes.
There are more features available for you to explore, but in this video, we'll focus on the most trending one in the current market. To get started, open a new design customizer with the dimensions 1920x1080. You can imagine anything, and Canva will show you the results. For example, let's imagine a flying cat with the wings of a green parrot. Please be patient as it may take some time to generate the artificial intelligence art, but it will provide you with the desired result. I've tested the blue and midterms options, and they work perfectly.
They generate results according to the prompt. Let me try something else. How about a flying turtle? Hmm, it seems to be more like a swimming turtle. Although the results are close, they aren't as accurate as the blue and midterms options. If you haven't tried them yet, I recommend using blue and midterms. I'll create a short series of courses on them, which I hope you'll love.
To be honest, I'm not completely satisfied with the results. Only the previous example seemed fine to me. Canva still needs further improvements, but it's already great that they have integrated these features. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up. If you have any queries or want to discuss Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator, feel free to DM me. Thank you for watching this video and for your support.
I hope you enjoyed this course. Please leave an honest review and share your suggestions for how I can improve this course or any upcoming courses. I would love to hear your feedback and enhance my content. Thank you once again, and I'll see you in the next course. Have a nice day!
Welcome to class number 14 of our Canva course. In this video, I'll guide you through the process of customizing a beautiful wedding card template using Canva. By the end, you'll have a personalized and professional wedding card design that you can easily create and share. Let's jump right into the video!
To start, search for wedding card templates using the search bar within Canva. Explore the featured section and select the free versions of the templates, as we're using the free version of Canva for this tutorial. Don't worry, the free templates are still highly customizable and visually appealing.
Choose a template that resonates with your preferences and fits the wedding theme you have in mind. Once you've selected a template, it's time to customize it to make it truly yours. Feel free to change the names, colors, and any other elements you wish to personalize. Simply drag and drop elements from the sidebar to modify the design. Canva provides a user-friendly interface, making it easy to make these adjustments.
For example, you can change the names of the bride and groom, adjust the dates, and add any additional information you want to include. If you feel the need to incorporate more infographics or elements, you can search for specific items in the element section, such as hearts, and add them to your design. To give your wedding card a cohesive look, you can experiment with the background color. Choose a color that complements the overall design and reflects the wedding theme.
Canva offers a wide range of color options to ensure you find the perfect shade. Once you're satisfied with your customized wedding card, it's time to export and download it. Canva allows you to download your design in various formats, including PDF, JPEG, and PNG. If you have a premium version of Canva, you can also obtain the template in scalable vector graphic (SVG) format, which provides flexibility for future edits. To conclude, I hope you found this video helpful in customizing your wedding card template using Canva.
Thank you for being a part of this class, and I look forward to seeing you in our next video.
