Emotional intelligence helps you build stronger relationships, succeed at school and work, and achieve your career and personal goals. It can also help you to connect with your feelings, turn intention into action, and make informed decisions about what matters most to you. Emotional intelligence is mainly defined by four attributes that will be discussed in more details during this course:
1. Self-management – It’s more about your ability to control and manage your feelings, emotions and behaviors in healthy ways and adapt to changing circumstances.
2. Self-awareness – You own recognition for your emotions and how they influence your thoughts and the way you act. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses that allows you to have more self-confidence.
3. Social awareness – is more about understanding people around you and how they feel and your ability to deal with them in positive way.
4. Relationship management – developing and maintaining healthy relationships.
