Description

This course offers a hands-on introduction to Watir (Web Application Testing in Ruby)—a powerful open-source tool for automating web browsers. Whether you're a beginner or a manual tester transitioning into automation, this course will equip you with the foundational skills needed to build reliable test scripts for real-world web applications.

You’ll start by learning how to interact with common web elements such as textboxes, checkboxes, and dropdowns, including both single and multi-select types. You’ll master alert handling for popups and JavaScript dialogs and learn to automate file uploads seamlessly using Watir's intuitive APIs.

The course also covers working with multiple windows and tabs, enabling you to handle complex navigation flows across different browser contexts. You will learn how to manage iframes, which are commonly used in embedded content, and implement synchronization using explicit waits to ensure your tests are stable and reliable.

Additionally, you’ll explore navigation commands such as visiting URLs, moving forward/backward, and refreshing pages. We'll also guide you through capturing screenshots for debugging and test reporting purposes.

Additionally, I have added POM- Page Object Model with specific element screenshot with reuse function

By the end of this course, you will be confident in building functional UI automation scripts with best practices, making you job-ready for automation QA roles.
