This course is a project-based course i.e., you will learn Niagara by creating a variety of effects.
I'll teach you the powerful particle system in the unreal engine by creating a wide variety of real-time effects
If you do not have installed UE5 yet. this video will help you to Install it.
After Installing UE5. Lets Setup your first Project.
so before starting working on fx we will set up a level to preview our effect in it.
create your first Niagara system.
I will describe all the basic properties of Niagara to create an effect.
so now you have basic knowledge of Niagara so we will create a simple spark burst effect.
In this video, you will learn how to use material dynamic parameters in Niagara with a simple effect.
For a firework first element will source of effect and that is shooting rockets so let's start with it.
After creating shooting Rockets we will add particle trails with it.
when the rocket will die in the sky there will be a burst effect, that we will create in this video.
like we created trails for the rocket, now we will create similar trails for this burst effect.
we will also add smoke trails with Rockets.
we will finish this effect by adding flash for impact.
For this effect first, we require an Icicle mesh that we will create in Maya.
For Our Icicle mesh, we need Material now so we will create it in this video.
so we have now our Icicle mesh and material to start creating the first emitter for it.
for just variation, I will create some small icicles emitter.
I will add some shooting debris when Icicles spawn for the impact effect.
add smoke to fill the effect and also because icicle coming out from the ground.
let's add smoke glowing particles.
because this is ICe effect so there will be smoke frost on the ground that we will create in this video.
we have completed out effect but leats review it again and see that we can still improve in our emitter.
after finishing the effect let's do smoke optimisation for it
post-process is important if you want to present your effect properly.
to start this effect first we need a Shield mesh, so let's create it in Maya.
we have created shield mesh now create material for it.
let's start the first emitter for the shield effect.
I will add some glow on the ground to connect the effect.
i will add a smoke vortex also.
I will add smoke dark elements to make contrast in effect.
because we will link our fx with the player, so first I will import the third person template in this project.
as this effect is Beam/ribbon based I will create ribbon material first.
so lets start first beam emitter.
now we will link our fx with player legs bone.
we have linked our fx with the player now it's time to improve it.
add some sparks from electricity hitting the ground.
This course is about the creation of VFX for Games with Niagara in Unreal Engine 5. You'll learn how to create basic sparks burst, fireworks, Ice attacks, shield effects, electric effects, and more effects for games. It will guide you from a Beginner standpoint to an advanced level in creating Visual Effects with Unreal Engine 4. It contains the theory, the practice, and the techniques you need for your future Visual Effects career. as I am already a tutorial online with more than free tutorials. now I aim to establish myself here on Udemy. so there will be more unreal engine Niagara VFX course soon here for all levels from beginner to advanced almost every topic or category I will try to put here so people who really want to learn realtimevfx in unreal engine 4 or 5 will never struggle to search anything that he wants to create.I hope you all guys will support me and help me to achieve that goal here. also, free tutorials will be available from time to time. this is my first course so there can be something that you can suggest to me for the next course I will really appreciate it if you criticize this course in any manner that will be helpful. thanks, everyone.
