In this first episode, you’ll receive a warm welcome and an introduction to what this course is all about. We’ll walk through the full course structure so you know exactly what to expect—covering the process of modeling a complete Low Poly car interior from start to finish. You’ll also learn about all the additional content included with the course, such as practice car models, finished interior files, and the Interior Assets library that will support your workflow throughout the lessons.
In this introductory episode, you’ll get familiar with the basic workflow of starting a new Blender project. We begin by opening the provided Blender file and walking through the proper steps to save your project so you can work efficiently and safely. You’ll also learn how to enable the essential add-ons needed throughout the course, ensuring that your Blender environment is fully prepared for the upcoming lessons.
In this episode, you will refine the car’s front and back windows by adding important structural details. We start by creating the black border around both windows, giving them a more realistic appearance. Then, using the Solidify modifier, you’ll add proper thickness to the glass surfaces. Afterward, we separate the geometry into clean, individual objects to maintain an organized workflow. Finally, we fix any overlapping vertices to ensure the mesh is clean and ready for further modeling.
In this episode, you’ll continue shaping the car’s window area by giving the side windows realistic depth through extrusion. We then create the surrounding window frames to define the vehicle’s structure more clearly. After that, you will duplicate all outer vertices to prepare the geometry for the interior. Finally, we merge everything into a single object to establish a complete and clean interior outline, setting the foundation for future detailing.
In this episode, you’ll build the foundational interior of the vehicle. We start by shaping the core elements such as the dashboard and center console. Then, we add the remaining interior surfaces—including the doors and roof—to form a fully enclosed cabin. By the end of this lesson, you’ll have a solid interior space that will serve as the basis for the detailed modeling work in later episodes.
In this episode, you’ll begin building the interior details by creating the front seat model. After shaping the seat, you will scale and position it accurately in the driver’s area. To efficiently complete the passenger side, we use a Mirror Modifier to generate the second seat, ensuring perfect symmetry and saving valuable modeling time.
In this episode, you’ll expand the interior by creating the rear seating area. We start by duplicating the driver’s seat and moving it to the back of the vehicle. A Mirror Modifier is then applied to generate the opposite rear seat quickly and accurately. Finally, you’ll model the center section to fill the gap between them, forming a complete three-seat rear bench.
In this episode, you’ll focus on creating the steering wheel and integrating it seamlessly into the dashboard. We begin by modeling the steering wheel itself, followed by adding the necessary geometry to connect and embed it properly within the dashboard structure. To enhance realism, you’ll also add additional details such as the turn signal and windshield wiper levers.
In this episode, you will create the essential driving controls located in the footwell area. We model both the accelerator and brake pedals, shaping and positioning them accurately to match the vehicle’s interior layout. These details add realism to the cockpit and further complete the front cabin setup.
In this episode, you’ll create the rear-view mirror as a two-part object, allowing the mirror surface to be controlled separately from its housing. After modeling both components, you’ll adjust the mirror and its mounting bracket so they fit naturally into the vehicle’s interior. This adds another important detail to the car’s cockpit design.
In this episode, we take a look at the Interior Assets File included with the course. You’ll see how the file is organized and how it can support your workflow. Both the complete interior model and the assets file are available for download in the Resources section of this episode, giving you everything you need to follow along or compare your work with the finished version.
In this closing episode, we recap the journey you’ve taken throughout the course and review the key steps involved in creating the full vehicle interior. I also want to take a moment to thank you for your dedication and effort. Completing this course is an achievement to be proud of, and I’m genuinely impressed by your commitment to developing your 3D modeling skills. Congratulations on reaching the finish line!
