Basic Guitar Chord Playing and Concepts

In this course, students will learn how to tune a guitar, how to warm-up your fingers with a simple exercise in addition to playing several major, minor, 7th, major 7th, minor 7th chords. Students will learn guitar chord shapes, moving those shapes around the fretboard as well as the concept of a barre and power chord. As a result, every student will gain more confidence and comfortability on the instrument, giving way to learning popular and/or favorite songs, and, at some point, writing original songs over time. In essence, the student will have an arsenal of chords in their tool kit, and be able to do many things with those chords on guitar, and beyond!
