Description

The Electrical Safety Training is the first part of our Electrical Courses Training. In this course, the safety procedures will be discussed in detail. You will be given general safety standards and useful tips that can be applied in the field. In what instance the electricity can be harmful to the technicians, electrical shock, and the consequences. This course will discuss the voltages used in equipment, and which types are more dangerous. You will have detailed information regarding the use of insulated tools and PPEs.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn all the factors that determine the effect of electric current on the human body.

  • State what to do if a person is a victim of electric shock.

  • Be able to incorporate precautions to guard against electric shock.

  • Summarize the basic rules of electrical safety.

  • List all the appropriate clothing and PPE to wear when working with electricity.

  • Learn all about Lock-Out and Tag-Out.

  • Describe the devices used to lock out power.

  • Explain how portable power tools are grounded

  • Be able to explain why circuits should be grounded.
