Description

This course is designed to help new Christians understand the basic beliefs of the Christian faith, that are outlined in the Bible and the process on how to become a Christian (become Christ-like). It is also helpful for older Christians as they review the basic tenets of the faith and seek to grow in faith. The course outlines the basic elements described in the Bible, and begins with an examination of the basis for believing that the Bible account is true. It also includes an overview of what we must do to become a Christian, and the process of becoming a Christian (what God does and what we must do). It also includes a description of what it means to be a Christian in our everyday life. It also describes the role of the church and how it helps us grow in the faith. Finally, it describes practices that will help us walk in faith. It includes principles that are accepted by almost all of the major Bible-believing churches and has been used by Christians from a wide variety of denominations. It explains when there are variations in practice by various Christian groups and how they differ in their understanding of those practices.
