Callie has been teaching yoga and other group fitness classes for over a decade. She has taught classes to all abilities and levels, including total beginners, Oscar-winning actors, MLB players, professional rugby players, Olympians, and those just looking to lead healthier, more active lives.
Her fitness career began as she transitioned from a college athlete to a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She trained Olympic athletes and Olympic-hopefuls at the Australian Institute of Sport and the ACT Academy of Sport, both in Canberra, Australia. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Australia in 2007, and she is certified in Thai Yoga Massage. Since her initial yoga teacher training, Callie has taken countless workshops and trainings in mat Pilates, barre, and yin yoga. She still considers herself a student.
Callie describes her yoga teaching style as alignment-based self love. She hopes her students’ time on their mats brings them greater physical and mental awareness, increased flexibility and a sense of calm and inner peace. Callie’s barre classes are self-described as “boot camp barre.”
When not teaching at the studio, Callie is a practicing attorney at a law firm in Center City and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was a Levy Scholar. She also earned a B.S. in Exercise Science, summa cum laude, from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.
