This video answers questions like 'What are chemical equations? What are Skeleton and Balanced chemical equations? What is meant y balancing a chemical equation? What are the Do's and Don'ts of balancing equations.

Requirements

  • A basic knowledge of symbols of elements and formulas of compounds

Description

From balancing point of view, I classify all chemical equations into 4 types. This classification is unique and my own. All the 4 types of equations are easily identified. Each type of equation has a unique and foolproof method of balancing. So one needs to learn only 4 different methods to balance all equations. In other words if one learns the methods to balance just 4 equations one from each type, one would be able to balance all chemical equations.

A 2-step strategy for balancing all equations:

Step 1: Identify the type of the equation

Step 2: Balance the equation by the appropriate method of balancing
