About the coach: Efendi Wijaya is a professional badminton coach with over 17 years of International Coaching Experience (Canada, Indonesia, and Singapore). His specialty events are Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. He has been the coach in numerous World Badminton Events, including the World Championships, World Junior Championships, Youth Olympics and Pan-American Games. Efendi was the Badminton Canada Coach of the Year in 2017 and in 2018 he won the Badminton World Federation Distinguished Speaker Award. He currently coaches at the E Badminton Training Centre in Markham, ON, Canada.
